I do not believe in my eyes when ETH drops below $ 300.
I went to find the cause and saw some pages talking about this because the ICO is selling out the ETH they mobilized from the investors. This has made the price drop dramatically.
What is happening to the price of ETH?
ETH is likely to drop to $ 200?

I think it's perfectly possible to go down to $200 because there's a serious shortage of money in the whole market.
Currently, many ICO teams are looking to sell ETH, so they can exchange ETH for legal tender.

If the holiday period is difficult for now, many people who will not do this including myself will not expect this. We will wonder why this is happening and is it possible that eth will return at its peak.

300 was a strong support and a psychological barrier and many people was surprised.

I don't believe it will fall more... However, nobody knows what's going to happen.

it's already at $264, this is crazy. I never thought that ETH would go down this much. I hope it will regain its solid pricepoint again, because this is worrying. LTC is on the same boat, plummeting as well. Let's wait and hope for it to go back to stable pricepoints.

Totally agree with you. Sense to sell in such a red market, when one bottom pierces another bottom. I do not think that this is the best solution. But many people really need money, since they most likely got their coins in the bounty and now sell them. At the same time, they do not think that over time it will be much more profitable

Yes - this is news about ICO. I did not think that such a decision is the best. Do not they have time to wait a while. Maybe it's just a rumor? I do not understand.

It looks like they are up to make holders panic and if you do, you better do it right now or hold your peace because when it strikes up again, it won't be going slow. You might not be able to afford it anymore when all of a sudden the price skip and goes up more than $500 in an hour. That would shock the world watching how terribly they lose their chance to win a lottery.

Whales to give on ethereum so that its cost was less than 2016 so that it could be institutionalized for the investor. After a long fall, a stable coin grows and everyone believes in it who went into this market. People believed in crypto currency even when bitcoin cost 1 dollar. 2019, the value of all the Crypto-currency may be more than 1 trillion dollars you need to believe the current and wait for it.

It is just one of the reasons. The main reason is that Ethereum is on the downtrend of its cycle, it must reset its price before grow again and 200 USD may be happen in a few next days

I was surprised to see it drop so fast too. But it seems this is because bitcoin's domination is rising and is already at its peak of over 50% this year. So it simply means that people are selling altcoins and buying bitcoin. But I wouldn't worry too much, because some analyses report that the trend is likely to reverse anytime soon. Altcoins seem to be hitting their support bottom, from where they can explode upwards.

I think etn will fall to two hundred dollars the whole market is slowly dying out, but there is a hope that closer to the winter will return the previous price

Maybe it's because our market is at a downtrend and waiting for a reversal. It is good to buy in now while its cheal and everybody knows that it will go up anything soon.

If the ethereum falls to $ 200 it will be insane. Many hope only for big growth and keep it for what would be good to earn. Maybe this is done specifically to scare and then it will grow again. Anything can happen.

Its so sad story. ETH is under 300$. As we know eth has very big potential. Eth falls very much but it will rise more too. We should consider that too. However, other altcoins are falling too.

Its just investors exiting and cashing out. We are in the bear market and a lot of them are making the necessary adjustment to at least mitigate their loses. All of us has been negative 60 already, so if you don't make corrective actions, your may lose more. But I don't think that it will fall below $200, I think it has already reached the bottom. And now the process of accumulation begins. I'm still very bullish and I still see it hitting at least $500 at the end of the year.

Mainly because there are to much ICO that requires ETH as an investment yet they fail to reach soft cap to start their project. Also there are still some issues regarding FUDS that destroying crypto as a whole. However i think that this will be fixed in the future.

Because there are many holders dump their ETH. It’s a supply and demand if they dump on s lower price, the price will dip more lower. If the dumper done the price will increase soon.

I think it is all because of the increasing number of ICO, some ICO really use th for investment and foe other purpose. I think there are also a big holders that dump their eth on a lower price. There are so many factors that can really affect the price so we need to be patience we don't need to be panic on this dip.

I do not think that ICO sell Ethereum which was received for the project. most likely, the main reason for the drop in Ethereum price is the fall of the market.

Yes yes there is a one way to panic when you are not pointed to the past years like i was recenlty. It is the phase where panic people sell their goods and others take them and make themselves rich in not so long period of time. We need to use this bear market if we can.

Yes many ICOs are selling ETH because the bear market is prolonged than everyone originally thought, they don't wanna wait more and started selling it which has caused ETH price to drop significantly, but overall the market itself is suffering. Bitcoin is falling and other alts are crashing.

it's trite. the entire cryptocurrency market is falling.accordingly, the ETH is no exception....

Bad ICOs are selling their ETH to cash out raised money because they are in panic fearing that the price will go lower and they will loose all the money. I think ICO sold their ETH below $300 are scams because they don't beleive in crypto and sold in the dip.

I think that this is a temporary phenomenon and provoked such a collapse not so far as pawns, but people who have a huge amount of eth on their hands. It remains to wait until they play enough.

it could be but i think that we must try to analyze the fundamental of ethereum itself. we must see if there will be a good news about ethereum but it gets dump and i think that's not causing by the ico was dumping their ethereum. it's likely those people are trying to jump to another altcoin platform. but it looks like the price of ethereum has rebound again. we will see that.

I do not believe my eyes anymore, the ethereum price has dropped to $ 300. This is not good news for investors. I think the bitcoin price increase has made people abandon ethereum. They are selling ethereum to buy bitcoin. This is not a good thing.

So no wonder, eth is also following what's happening around.
If you are strong enough, you will not panic.
It's just another phase in crypto, and it's not new.
Just stick around and few months from now, the market would be different.
There's no special reason why eth is falling, almost all other altcoins or tokens do.

Yeah, I also don't believe to see the price of ETH falls down with a very low rate so far. But I am not sure if the dropped price will reach $200. The decline may be affected by bad issues in crypto world currently or it's just a market game. However, I believe this can rise again and reach a good rate at the beginning of next year.

Apart from what actually causes the Ethereum price to decline, all this is a trend in the crypto market, where prices will drop dramatically, but it will also rise drastically.

One reason could be that ICO projects are cashing out their Ethereums for fiat for fear of not having enough capital to keep the project going.  It's understandable but it wouldn't be wise to cash out everything at the current prices. 

Lol, I think ETH is relying on ICOs too much. Maybe you should withdraw your money and wait for the price to drop down to $200 or below that and you can invest back your funds and wait till it goes back again. This is just for a little while, I believe that things will change very soon and the price of most cryptocurrencies in the market will go up.

Everything has dropped dramatically, I never expected even Bitcoin to drop down to $6000, this morning when I checked I was really surprised. But I’m not worried tho’.

It is shaply going down because ethereum also and so as the other coins is affected by the price drop of bitcoin. It is a simple understanding. When bitcoin price falls, the next of it is the other coins and altcoins. Ethereum includes to that option.

Because the ICO is no longer attracting attention from investors. For various reasons the ICO is dying, and if nothing changes then next time we will not see new ICOs. And for those successful ICOs, the last time they sold their ETHs was to profit and develop their projects. So the price of ETH has dropped dramatically from 500$ to 215$ at this time
