Title: BLOCKKONNECT scam revealed!
Post by: goldkingcoiner on August 15, 2018, 05:43:31 AM

All the so called team members twitter for this bounty has  ~75% of the same followers? Hired a twitter service obviously.

Ok so first of all, seriously? Thats just lazy: http://oi66.tinypic.com/2zg4s28.jpg

All team members have around 430-460 followers while having only 70-90 tweets as well as 70-90 followings. Going by the fact they all suspiciously have an account since may 2018, that would give them 3 months to make those followers. Thats 5 followers a day. Math does not add up.

The whitepaper itself in unprofessional with a baseless wall of text.

You should have included the link to that bounty you were talking about.

Also, I don't get this

What's with those followers etc? It's too vague for me to understand your point.  Does it have something to do or related on how the bounty become suspicious? Or because they have same followers that's why they're suspicious?

Exposing a scam requires some good strong evidences, and which you have mentioned doesn't seem to be good. A new team obviously may hire a service for showing up their followers list. With they having hired, almost the whole lot of team may have the same followers. Regarding the bounty management, it's the manager's work to spot a scam and to verify the project before endorsing them.

Also, if they feel somewhat strange about the project, they need to warn the people and should move away from endorsing the project. Some really good reputable managers do care about the scams and they leave once when something strange is exposed about the project. Something like this happened when Arbitao project endorsed by yahoo62278 ended up as a scam and he immediately closed the campaign.

Managers should study the project before they start promoting them and I assume most of them never care about the project they are promoting. Once a scam project reaches out to an inexperienced manager, they just accept them and receive the pay and start working for them.

It does not only seem suspicious, it is scam!

red flag 1: Whenever you see any of these websites as press coverage with the same article, know that it's likely a scam.

http://oi65.tinypic.com/106btwo.jpg (http://oi65.tinypic.com/106btwo.jpg)

red flag 2: These $20 freelance videos with company's name 3d text in the background - 99.99% chance of scam.

red flag 3:Extremely weird names, with no-verifiable identities past this project.

Let's add some straight up facts:

Their CEO Andrey Graham's linkedin profile description is stolen from Michael Misiti.

Justin Shi brief twitter description seems to be stolen from Trevor Aron (ARON)

http://oi66.tinypic.com/2zzkxhd.jpg (http://oi66.tinypic.com/2zzkxhd.jpg)

https://www.linkedin.com/in/trevoraron/

Their marketing manager Luis Alberto is actually, an actor with similar name Luis Albert Acevedo:

http://oi65.tinypic.com/ilkopv.jpg (http://oi65.tinypic.com/ilkopv.jpg)

They have two different pictures for Constantina Soboleva (remember that name) on their website and linkedin (fiverr freelance woman image)

https://www.fiverr.com/scottmather00/get-your-song-ready-to-distribute

As i said earlier names sound extremely suspicious. Remember that Aron guy, well team has T.Aron guy - Teddy Aron

Let's take a look at DIW team, playing some mix and match Masha Soboleva – Russian Community Manager and Constantina Samara – Senior Web Designer

And we finish with plagiarized whitepaper, contents stolen from forbes, nasdaq and personal blogs.

...snip...
Solid evidences deserves a merit and has further proven that Blockkonnect is a SCAM. Also, the bounty manager arnobs007 has said that he is stepping down from the Blockkonnect bounty and is no longer responsible for the scams which are meant to take place in the future.

Disclaimer:
I am no longer responsible for this campaign, as a bounty manager, I decline responsibility on any mispayment or anything else from "BLOCKKONNECT".
The presence of bounty managers in this thread does not imply endorsement of the project that's utilizing the managers' services. You can join the campaign on your own risk.

That being said @OP move the topic to Scam Accusations child board, change the title of the post and quote the reply of morvillz7z which has exposed the SCAM. This may save a investor from losing his bucks to a scam project.

P. S With Ethereum block chain any one can create a token and may scam you. Invest in the project only after knowing completely about the project.

EDIT : LimeFeline please don't quote the whole reply. It's a pain to read the whole thread

hey man you are soo silly have some commensense look all our team members are genuine if you are ready to take our kyc we are ready to submit, all the team members are new and hance they had less follwers in the twitter so they have promoted their profiles and gain some followers, lol there is no relation between similar followers and our project nothing to deal with it..

you dont have right to say us scam just because we have similar followers we repeat again team members have promoted themselves to gain followers to their profile because they want their profile to have some good followers..look this doesnt mean that we are scam if you have any strong eveidences prove it simply dont blame us..
we are introducing some new technology instead of encouraging us you guys are demotivating us anyhow that doesnt effect us because we are truely genuine and our some team members have similar followers because they just want their profile with little followers so they have promoted..

I haven't even analyzed it as well as can do... Just entered web-site and looked at the team members. Only 2 persons, seriously ?
And they have a bounty program. Fishy, very fishy...

You can also look at their address. I looked at the google map and found out their address is Clark shoe store.

2nd Floor 203 Regent St,
Mayfair, London W1B 4NB,
United Kindom

I know google map isn't 100% accurate so please check it also.

Obviously, this is why we shouldn't trust these ico rating sites.
https://www.trackico.io/ico/blockkonnect/
4.8 rating. Seriously?
