Title: Where is the bios chip on a Sapphire RX550 Pulse 2GB?
Post by: BytecoinUK on August 15, 2018, 02:13:22 PM
Hi everyone,

I want to flashing a Sapphire RX550 Pulse 2GB with a CH341A Programmer because this card is no longer detected even on DOS mode, the fan running so and the computer take a moment to boot because the card seems to don't have any bios on his chip, but I don't know where is the bios flash.

Some pictures of the card:

Thank you for your help in advance.

I know one of my friends who was working on the project to build such immense board for the authorities and they took essaywritinglab reviews (https://www.topbritishessays.com/essaywritinglab-co-uk-review) to make it more unique and user friendly so that any complain can be handled in future with ease.

It's the one on the bottom right screw with the 8 pins.

I am too lazy to find the link but go on the Ethereum forum and search for something such as "How to rescue GPU from a failed flash".

From there you can force the GPU to get detected in DOS and then you can try and reflash it. It usually works and it worked for me in the past.

Basically all you need to do is short 2 pins while your boot the computer and it should get your DOS to detect it.

Already tried before to make posts, I make multiple research before to make it. And that's not work. Please do not judge before and read each lines of my post :)

It's the one on the bottom right screw with the 8 pins.

I'm going to try :)

adaseb didn't judge you, he simply said that "He forgot the link and he didn't have the time to look for it again, just search it yourself using the keyword in his reply".
Anyways, here, I've done what he instructed which brought me to this link: bricked-your-rx-480-due-to-bad-flash (https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/9443/bricked-your-rx-480-due-to-bad-flash)
Different models, same brands but both have the same Bios chip.

The Bios chip that you're asking where was included in the instruction as well.

It has the same label as smilodon said:

If re-flashing didn't help, the problem might be something else.
