in 2017 everyone was curious about BTC and started trying various ways to get BTC. so that in that year BTC reached the highest price. and this year 2018 everyone understands that BTC investment is very risky, then lots of drama and issues so that whales play a role to play the price.

We only have one different thing:
in 2017 Bitcoin became popular, a large of new investors have known about it so they have invested a huge of money to buy Bitcoin and this thing made Bitcoin price went to $20k.
In 2018 a lot of investors are waiting for a new pump to help them sell bitcoin at the price they have bought and quit this game.

I think it will be not same like around 2017. BTC fluctuates more often as compared to previous years.  I am not sure as everybody predictions fail this time, but I predict it will vary around $7000 to around $14000.

Well it just been a year for me in cryptocurrency. I do think the price of bitcoin will be really good and if etf does be approved the price could be reach more than $20k, many expert are think bitcoin could be reach $60k and market cap will be 1 trillion. I do believe its possible and this is truly best time for us to buy more coins before etf approved, bakkt will be a great exchange and they will launch it on november.

I still remember that at the early of 2017, price of BTC was only few hundreds dollars and at the moment although BTC price is much lower than its highest price but I still feel it's very good cause it's thousands dollars right now :). BTC is totally different in 2017 and in 2018. Last year bitcoin price was increasing all the time but there were less projects and adoption. This year we have more adoption, move investors planning to adopt crypto but the price is continuously down. With more popularity of bitcoin, the price should have increased more.

2017 BTC is starting to attract a lot of people, and is a time when everyone tries to have BTC and wants to know more about these investments, while 2018 is a time when people start to panic and get bored with BTC, so some people start switching to other investments beyond crypto or BTC. I hope that in 2019 BTC can again show its strength to the public with price increases that are able to provide happiness to every investor, so that they still feel comfortable and happy in investing in BTC.

Well, the only significant difference I see in BTC in 2017 and 2018 is the price, asides that  the difference between 2017 & 2018 is that towards the end of last year, people were investing in bitcoin and the market grew but towards the end of this year 2018, people withdrew their investments which is one of the reasons the market fell to this state. There was simply a huge pump in the market in 2017 & a huge dump the year in 2018. I hope the bull run comes soon as we are expecting and the market stabilises, that's my hope for the nearest future.

It's like flipping because in 2017 the price of crypto coins is at very low prices to very high prices and this happens at the end of the year. And of course, everyone can feel profitable trading. But in 2018 prices slowly began to low and this decline certainly made many people trapped in losses.

Comparing this year market to last year market doesn't make sense because last year market gain high traffic and manipulation which is what lead to this year correction and blood bath. Therefore, is not the matter of market attracting much attention or not because whenever crypto market reach a new ATH the following year market will definitely experience correction.

I just hope that hopefully BTC will pump again in 2019 like in 2017 yesterday ;D ;D

If you look at the cryptocurrency market as a whole for all 10 years, we see UPS and downs. Victory and defeat ! But in General, if we look at the market then it is growing I think it will continue ! 2018 is the year of correction, 2017 is the year of bullish trend. I think it's no different than being valued. because in 2017 it dominated the price in the market and continued to increase, whereas in 2018 it has not experienced a significant increase.

For me, Btc is a tool where you can secure your altcoin earnings and make new altcoins investments if you see some potential.

So, it will continue to exist and gain value as the market grows more, but the BTC dominance will go down over time because its tech is getting upgraded very slowly and it lacks governance.

There are so many challenges that accompany drastic change in price, one of which is the reduction in not just the marketcap of bitcoin alone, but also that of the generally market. If you look at it so well, you will notice it has happened and some are expecting more fall.

Last was the best year for all newly cryptocurrencies and top major cryptocurrencies. But this year is very bad year for all investor's and holders. I dont know whats the reason for it. But sometimes market will normal in 2020.
