Hi Ppl,

We are doing a logo contest. The logo needs to have a professional look and feel

It will be used on the wallets and websites we are currently developing.

So far, the leafcoin logo was a clover.

However, you are free to create something different.

We will be giving away 500k for the winner and 250k for the runner up.

Winners will be selected on another page using voting.

Edit: also please submit only original work! we dont want to have legal issues.

Edit: deadline for the logo submissions will be the weekend of 15-16. Then voting will begin if sufficient good logo's were submitted.

Edit: you are free to submit something new but relation with the clover is preferred as was mentioned by the leaf community.
So if you want your logo to win.. best to have something related to the clover... since it is preferred by the voting community

Then we will provide a poll where ppl can vote based on the numbered images.

it's a green leaf frog from the amazon. thought it was a nice fit for Leafcoin Foundation goals

Your work is much appreciated and I like the graphics but,

as I said in the other thread:

I think it should be a redesign of the clover.

It's very recognizable

It's an international symbol for luck, prosperity etc.

Use the existing design and tweak it.

Don't do something completely different.

Perhaps you could make a logo with the clover

that's where it get confusing. I never saw your post, I only saw this new threat with a link to a post from "invisible" mentioning it, felt like the clover was for luckycoin (which I agree)

Now if the contest is about a new logo keeping the clover theme then yes my posted logo seems out of place.

500k is 0.03 at current exchange rate. Thats extremely low. Don't expect really good designs for this.

I think the clover is not out, but other suggestions are welcome.
I'm giving my opinion on the clover because I think this is best for Leaf.
In the end the decision is up to the community.

What's wrong with the current logo?

A few very vocal users have taken a disliking to it.

Original leaf logo is very, very good. It's almost impossible to do a better logo. All logos posted are not even close.

I will, I made the logo before leaving for work, I'll change it when I can access a decent computer... also the original source for the clover is too low res to work properly so I'm limited until I remake it from scratch

My opinion to give enough time, 2 weeks at least
- this will make more people know about that (good advertisement for Leaf)
- the reward will increase
- more professional designer will participate
- more value for our action to change the logo
- best results

before was better,
(just make the core (the center logo) darker)

I like it much, could you put only one or two stars on the both sides of the leafs :) on the silver part?

I tohught that when the list of the candidates will be closed and dev will make the voting, meaby dev will make a separate wallet address to collect LEAF from the sponsors to organise it good?

I also want to give input for the Leaf logo so the Leafcoin will hopefully rise again.

I restyled the original logo and kept the 4 leafed clover.
I think this is just a very strong image, recognizable, international symbol for luck.
The (crypto)coin element is clear and visible and of course it's green.

If you can change the leaf structure to clover leaf, your coin will get an edge over other designs.

Very nice effort from people. I also liked Lawbc, splawik21 and litcoincollector's designs.

I think The Logo 4 by LEO is the best, just it would be better with the clover inside. That clover caught me on the first place when i decided to mine this coin.
On the other hand, this coin puprose is to save the rain forests , so that leaf inside is perfect  :)
