Do you believe that August is a ghost month?

Funny fact. What is happening now with the market and the fact that August is a month's ghost .. makes you think. I do not think that it is somehow connected, but it's very funny.

We really have ghost month in cryptocurrency, mostly August yearly and we can see it on the graph.
but i dont think that is the main reason.
it is the people who make any crypto rise or dump and not the month.
and it is normal in the market to fall and next to rise.
we should be careful on buying trades or invest in ICO.

I have never seen so funny topic before))) thank you, you made me smile. I think that these things are not connected at all. And of course, cryptocurrency during some periods goes up and down - it is a usual thing. And that it happens sometimes in August it is just the trivial coincidence. :) ;)

Based on my research about GHOST MONTH many investors has take a break and getting lie low for investing or any related of investment, since Chinese people had a strong and wide influence in the cryptocurrency world, "In fact, many stock market traders are also advised not to invest into anything with their money during this month as it is considered bad luck." What do you think??

There are other parts in the world that are not superstitious and mostly believe in science. I also do not see any correlation between ghosts and cryptocurrency, if you believe that its a badluck then you really need to explore other than your country since people in different countries have been trading in your so-called ghost month, years before and are still alive and doing well until today.

Yes, the market system is a little down, I think so, it is not possible to say that this month is the ghosts month. Cryptomarket price may decrease at any time and may increase again. I think It does not depend specifically on any time.

Well, I'm not cencerned with the ghost month but I do remember that bitcoin started growing insanely in the end months of 2017 and as we all know that ANYTHING is possible in crypto so we can also expect some action after this ghost month. This month has not been good but all the seasons in a year are not same.

I do not believe in it.  I heard our life and activity is subject to cycles, especially in this believe in the East, including the lunar cycles.  But I do not think that this has any effect on the movement of the cryptocurrency market and Bitcoin.

I do not see how activities such as this are consequential to the price of cryptocurrency. It is going to change nothing.

These are just superstitious talks and belies. Given that the incidents that took place happened in August was just pure coincidence.

Yes I believed that august is a ghost month When I was investing in stock market. But now that I am in cryptocurrency market, I believed that any month can be a ghost month. Because any FUD in any time of the year affect the price of cryptocurrencies.

I think it's true for stock market. Because stocks prices are usually lowest in August. Also I remember that sometimes in december is the lowest.

Sad but it is a fact we cant change, mostly people are on hold and if not they are not buying because anytime from now the market will fall. So wht someone do a risky decision, the only option is not to buy and sell. Thats why we have ghost market, no volume in some good exchange. The ICO sale is also affected by this situation

That's just a coincidence. Crypto reduction is due to the overall market trend. Perhaps this is the time to accumulate for longer term gains later ;D ;D

there is no connection between ghosts and crypto because they intersect. crypto = science while ghost = not science.

Well, this was funny! I don’t think that it is connected with the month August and the market condition. Market can fall or rise at any time in a year. It’s not just only the month August!

I think that August is no better and no worse than the previous months of this year, as well as those that will follow! This month did not justify the general expectations for the growth of the Crypto-currency  :'(

I do not think that can have any significant effect on cryptocurrency. As a matter of fact, what some people do not understand is that no occasion has direct influence on crypto, except it is influenced by some set of people.

Okay, now this was very funny! Market condition and the month August doesn’t have any connection at all. Market can fluctuate anytime in a year. It is not only just the month of august. Yes, you may say it coincidence but not a ghost month!

we are just in bear season and we are going now at BER months which BEAR is not welcome (another funny fact but hope to be done)

I don't care if August is ghost month or not and I don't think it affect to price of crypto market :). The whales don't have time to care about if this month is a ghost month or human month, they just care about good and bad news and which one they can take advantage to get more money :).

Ghost month is an ancient traditional belief of chinese falls on August 11th - September 9th and the 15th day of the 7th lunar month which is August 25 is the Ghost festival. There are many do's and dont for chinese on this month. So maybe thats why china has a negative news on this month. Or many of chinese didn't active on this month on trading or they just FUDding to accumulate more btc.

You are right Because the crypto market has been averse to this month. Many have benefited and many are losing weight. I think the market will return to good condition very soon.

Its very interesting for me. I think this things are not connected. Crypto currency during some period goes ups and down its usual for me because it already stable. It happens now and then in August it is just the minor chance.

The early August markets were live, but it went right into the ghost format. now the upward trend towards the end of the month come back.

Ghost month is an traditional belief of chinese, I don't think that it's related in crypto currency world and the price of coin in the market. Why so many people are thinking  like that, in the past months saying that after the Chinese New year the crypto will start to recover from the dip, so what happened now? And now Ghost month? Ghost month is a ghost month and it doesn't have a big deal in the crypto market.

Please don't Put such type logic in cryptocurrency world, the market is uncertain and all changes based on some real logic ,like ban of crypto in a county or correction etc.  Pump and Dump is purely based on circumstances not in month

Do not think about stupid things. August is the usual month. By itself, a month on the cryptocurrency will not affect. The volume of trading, buying and selling coins influences the currency.

Ghost month is nothing but a superstition and not even related to price movement of those altcoins. What affects
the price in the market is those news that manipulates and brain washed those small time investors. As you can see, when there is a negative or a positive news, the market reacts exaggeratedly. It looks like fundamental analysis won most of the time than Technical analysis.

There are many bad news that come and for me that is the reason of continue falling of the price and that's is the reason why bitcoin hard to increase.

Yep, August is an unlucky month with Eastern countries such as VietNam, Chinese. Everybody will restrict the business because they think that there will be lots of bad things come to them

Apparently, a lot of people always tend to find some explanation to why something is happening at every point in time. I am not against anyone's belief or religion, but I feel all these kind of superstitious believes are just some man made theory that never happens and even if it does, I do not see how in anyway can be related to how the market responds at a particular point in time.

The market has been in downtrend throughout this year, so should we say from January till now, every month has been a ghost month ? Definitely not :P !

The cryptocurrency market has't downdard for only one reason. There are many other reasons behind this. Time, present conditions of the market, market arrangements and the investors all are responsible for this.

No, I don't believe, that August is a ghost month. I know, that the activity of traders in the cryptocurrency market is always reduced in the summer, so everything falls in price, but in the autumn usually the activity increases again and the market recovers

To my mind, this is a strange name, I mean the ghost month. I think that the market experiences not the best times but the situation will improve soon and you will see that everything will be fine

it's funny but off course, ghost month will affect the price of cryptocurrency.  The market has been unwinding from a series of market price depreciation. I'm very optimistic about the future of the market. pray ghost months wouldn't continue forever

You made me laugh well. You can find a bunch of superstitions, but do not pull them here. Crypto currency is falling in price because it is beneficial to rich people.

I think it's more of a coincidence than a pattern. generally speaking about cryptocurrency, I think that the analysis does not work here. everything happens more spontaneously and quickly, and for the most part as no one expects

I just want to assume this is something some group just believe based on their own mentality but it does not cut across everywhere and I do not see how it simply affects the way this market operates, ghost month or not. I was actually a little bit confused about what the ghost month was all about, and then after researching, I realized it is a festival and a Buddhist belief that hungry ghosts or restless spirits are roaming the earth and crazily negative things can happen in the process. I do not know if this means ghosts now have their own bitcoin wallet or something. ;D

The part of your message about calendar looks like logic, but I suppose that there have to be some other reasons because this fact is not enough for so strong conclusion.

And what? August I think was actually a mean to break the crypto market in the direction of rising prices for altcoyins. Today the first day of September and August confirms its role. According to many, some kind of shit-coin was 18 dollars yesterday, and today on September 1, the prince-coin became the one and gave growth of almost 9000% for one day and became 1700 dollars. This is not the wonders of August? Where are the investors?

If I still knew what it was. Although if you take into account the Chinese, and the fact that they believe in omens, everything is possible.

Please, don't bring your superstition over whole world cryptocurrency markets. I don't think it will sensible to apply an Eastern's value to the Western side.

It all depends on each other's beliefs, I, who is of Chinese descent, does not believe in the forecast calendar, indeed all crypto prices start to fall in 2018, not just August. But I hope that this month until 2019 there will be a big change.

Last months were really confusing and unstable for all sides of crypto's world including prices, valums and so on. To my mind cryptomarket is ready for the increasing even today.

chinese believes that august is a ghost month, it means many bad luck might happen in the whole month, since it is their belief, it will actually affect the price of cryptocurrency in the market, because there are a lot of investors coming from china.

My view of the ghost moon is only mythology, although at the moment the ICO prices are falling dramatically, in my opinion the decline in cryptocurrency prices in August has no relationship with the Chinese calendar or ghost month.

August very well showed itself and all the cryptocurrency grew! But over the past day, everything has changed and again lost 20% of the cost of all major cryptocurrency.
