With Ethereum Classic just added to Coinbase, do you think it’s good news for Ethereum as well?  Coinbase is one of the biggest exchanges.  They do things very deliberately.  So I think by adding ETC, Coinbase is giving the Ethereum platform a greater support.  Hopefully it’s also good news for the overall crypto market.  

it was one of the most disappointing additions ever in the history of altcoins being added to a new exchange in my opinion.
usually when something like that happens the price of that altcoin shoots up a lot because of the hype that comes with this kind of news but for ETC, there was realistically no rise at all since the rise it had in the past day was due to the recovery that it had after its massive dump.

these are exchanges, and exchanges add coins that have high trading volume enough for them to make profit. it is not "support" and it means nothing.

This is definitely good news. The price of Ethereum classic has already increased by 15% and I think it will grow a little more. However, this growth will not last long in such a market. I think that soon the price will return to the previous indicators.

Hope Ethereum Classic will do something good since it has been added to coinbase. But we need to know well about something new when we are in a downward condition.

As Ethereum Classic has got 15% benefit already, it seems to be more profitable in the future. We have to take any decision to take the crypto market condition upward.  It should be good for cryptocurrency.

It could be one of the reason why ethereum is dropping now, people are switching to ethereum classic. The price now is really low compared with regular ETH so investors are switching hoping for bigger gains. Ethereum will rise but i doubt it will be faster than classic, so time to switch

No it does not, etc isnt ETH. I serieusly dont kniw why people invest in ethereum classic, since the fork.
Also if coinbase list this typ of coins than no its not good for ETC, ETH nor crypto. There are way bettet projects woth more volume and more chances to succeed hete than ETC.
It is still mind blowing thaylt coinbase does these listings.
But if you are a hodler of etc than you are a happy man these bear days :), still i dont think its fair but for them its cool.

It’s a positive growth and I’m sure more projects will be integrated into the coinbase system and United States eventually adopt crypto currency fully for their citizens

A good move from the government of U.S this is literally big for the community, but the price of ETC doesn't affect at all.  I love ETC over Eth so this is a wise decision that the coinbase team had done.

Although I am not sure about it, Ethereum Classic will be really good I hope. However, if any decisions are taken by research then it brings good results. So, I hope Ethereum Classic will bring something good.

It’s a very good news. The price of Ethereum classis is already increase 15 percent. I think this growth is for long lime. So I think it being added coinbase.

yes I also heard the news and this is unfortunate that most of the investors are not liking it cause it prices have already started to raise and hopefully it will progress more so I think you should give it a chance to stabilised in the market

well many things arrive in this market almost everyday but that doesn't mean each of everyone going to be useful,  most of the investors are not liking it that ethurem classic has added to coinbase and think that they have their own reasons behind it,  but don't take any decisions until you have the proper information

This is very bad decision. I think this decision will decrease the reputation of Coinbase. Because ETC price is dropping down and addition of ETC classic will enable more options to dump the price

Well I don’t see this event as great step for crypto market. It will raise the value of ethereum classic and people will be more eager to invest on it and will be able to earn a lot

I think it will prove to be good for etc investors and supporters as it willbe easier to buy etc on coinbase platform, so definitely it will helo in adoption of etc as well.

I think it is a worst thing happened. Ethereum classic was grown just for the hype it made but now it really dumps massively. There is no rise at all. So I don’t find any positive thing of this addition. 

Actually etherem is so much dependent on bitcoin. Unless the price of bitcoin rises, it will continue to going downward. So partially it’s true that ethereum is a shitcoin because it’s dependent and has no supremacy over market.

It is very interesting choice in my opinion for Coinbase to pick ETC ahead of many good coins in the space. I heard from grapevine that is it because of Blockstream influence in the space that help ETC to get listed on the platform, we all know how the space work, it is all about who you know, it happens to with BCash team also, Roger Ver is a very influential person in the space

It’s really great. Ethereum classic price has increased but not that much as the market is downward so it will take time to get back in a stable position. But when the market will rise I hope it will be in a good position. 

I am not a fan Ethereum classic. But i think getting listed on coinbase is really good for it. But i don't think it will do something good for Ethereum. Because Ethereum is already an established coin.

Really good news for Ethereum classic. I think it will make Ethereum classic more profitable for a time. As coinbase is one of the biggest and most popular exchanges, Ethereum Classic will gain popularity.

Ethereum classic may have a certain growth in this period. But i don't think Ethereum will be benefited with this incident. The growth of Ethereum Classic will be short term from my opinion.

It is a very good news indeed. The price of the ethereum will now increase. And already it increased as far as I know. But the question is. will it last or not!

In my opinion any forked coin can not be better then the original, and we see that in all examples of all BTC fork coins. Also such coins can confuse users and they often buy wrong coin or send coins to wrong address (which is big problem on exchanges).

I see that ETC is launched on Coinbase PRO on August 7, and it will take 1 or 2 weeks to be added to Coinbase. By what I see price on August 7 was almost 19$, today is only 12$ - so there is no big effect on price. In general it is no big news for me, but it is just new opportunity for trading.

Show me one single fork of famous coins that have really performed well in the market or at least continuing to stay the same way since it's introduction. Ethereum Classic is not any different from that. The initial hyping up was just a weak attempt of pumping it up and now that the bubble has popped, it has returned to the previous position again.

Ethereum Classic has already dropped 7.03% in value after their inclusion on Coinbase. Though the hype surrounding it helped the price to go up for a single day but the trend didn't last longer than that. Even if it was a chance for EThereum given by Coinbase but right now it looks like they have wasted their chance badly.

I honestly don't care about forks anymore and ETC hasn't failed me in that sense. All the forks available in the current market has been hyped up for once at least and later they have proved themselves to be just another shitcoin on the block. ETC is not different from them and I don't see any chance of it rising the future too.

This is a good news indeed for the market and for the investors. Plus the fifteen percent increase does indicate good sign that the market is on the verge of an improvement. Hopefully this might be the start of a good thing and that the market will become better.

Well, will never know until it happen. Actually, in different exchanges the value of any cryptocurrency is depend in the market and the market movements declared value is depends in supply and demand therefore it doesn't matter whatevever exchanges it is. Ethereum classic is one of the better cryptocurrency in the cryptosystem that's why there are a huge of people that really supporting on it so hopefully it will be much successful in the future even though it is located in any kind of exchanges.

Getting a 15% increase is a huge deal. This is a good news for the market indeed. And maybe this is the ray of hope that we need in this market to gain some trust back into those who have lost it.

It is a good news, but only for ETC holders. I do not believe that it will have any impact on ETH price
and overall Crypto market. It is just a coin added to one of the biggest exchanges.

This work has been notified, and many have said. ETC has increased, the price increases are not sustainable. When markets are plunging, it's hard ETC can fly high

I'm actually surprised they added Ethereum Classic to Coinbase.  Seems there were much better options.  It was nice to be able to make a bit on the obvious pump and dump situation arose.  I can see them delisting EC sometime in the future,

ETC is a forked coin from ETH, has different blockchain, different community base and there's nothing to worry about, even if it gets listed into some major exchanges. It may affects ETH, however that's only a little bit.
The fact that coinbase adding ETC is just as normal as when other exchanges adds more crypto to its listings. Its main point is to cover a wider range of cryptocurrency users.

They're similar but not related to one another. It's like when Bitcoin Cash was first added to Coinbase several months ago and then asking do you think it's good for Bitcoin?

It won't affect the overall market. Ethereum classic is not Bitcoin where one positive news can turn the tide around. People who benefit from this news are the altcoin traders and coinbase users who are interested in buying/selling these forked coins in one of the biggest crypto exchange.

Ethereum classic is not a great coin and this coins trade volume is not too much high. So i think it’s not the right time for ethereum classic to join with coinbase.
