Title: Buying MtGox USD or Bitcoins (PP, Moneybookers or Neteller)
Post by: Mr. Piglet on October 20, 2011, 07:00:56 AM
Hello,

Would be looking for a few MtGox USD/BTC providers or alternatively plain BTC providers, from some reputable members of the forum.

Range of purchases: $20-$500 each

Payment Method: Paypal (Gift)

Regards,
Mr. Piglet

(I got only good itrader ratings on other forums (Digital Points, Namepros) and a verified canadian business account, should you want to verify my reputation since I'm new here.)

Good sellers:

Thanks. Looks likes there's 3 people within 15 km... although the posts dates back a bit. Will try that. Still looking.

Just make a direct bank deposit to cavirtex (The CA stands for Canada, or possibly Calgary). No deposit fees, 0.6% on exchange. From there you can convert into Bitcoin and move them into any exchange that you like. More trustworthy in my opinion than handing an envelop of cash to someone on the streets of Montreal.

I'd still have to pay my bank a fee (if you look up its already stated) to send them a transfer. Plus the lows on MtGox are much lower than on Cavirtex? Cavirtex trades higher, I'd have a 5-10% loss + bank fee (5$ minimum)!

Still another transfer method that would lose me a huge margin.

CaVirtex is much smaller and so more volatile than Mt Gox. There is a much larger sell/buy gap. Anyways, I sent them a direct deposit and had no bank fees charged to me. I don't know which method you plan to use, but yet it is possible to move money in without any fees. If you watch Cavirtex in comparison to Mt Gox it will often plummit to below Mt Gox levels on the big drops. Buy in then if you want a good deal. Otherwise, well you should understand that there is a good reason for the price difference between cavirtex and mtgox. It's the cost of moving cash between the two exchanges. If it was that easy, arbitrage would eat up the difference.

We did a 2 digit trade and it was smooth/fast.
