What is the most expensive commodity at the moment? besides gold and diamonds.
and is bitcoin included in it? please share your knowledge about this.

Many other commodities whose prices exceed gold are new bitcoin technologies because currently 1 Bitcoin is more expensive than 1 ounce of gold and now bitcoin crypto is the most popular in the world.

Aside from gold and precious stone, food are becoming more and more expensive, new gourmet are now finding new ways of cooking meats with extra care and powerful techniques that make food taste as extra ordinary.... And restaurant sell it as one Bitcoin per plate...

It depends on how many karats does gold have, and how big diamond is, bitcoin is a virtual currency and because of it's volatility and being unregulated is a factor that it has an undeprictable price which can overthrew prices of gold and diamonds. 

I think that the bitcoin is included because gold is compared to bitcoin but as we all know bitcoin may be included or not is because of bitcoin's unpredictable price.

There's no good way to tell if a commodity is "expensive" or not, unless you're looking at previous prices.  Oil isn't at its all-time high, nor is bitcoin, nor are precious metals.  If you were talking about the stock market (which you're not), you could look at price/earnings ratios, and that would tell you if a stock was expensive because there are yardsticks people measure that by.  Not so in the commodity market as far as I know.  If anyone can educate me about that, I'd love it.

Bitcoin is pretty expensive IMO if you compare it to 2010.  This is relative, though.  If it hit $100k in 2025 we could look back and say it was cheap in 2018.  It's kind of a weird question.

Most likely some sort of diamond. Some diamonds of the rarer kind go for insane amounts a gram. Of course, the problem is they are often faked, so the market is most likely inaccurate, rigged, since they are very hard to discern from the real deal. See:

You can look at that all time graph and get an idea of how the BTC all time graph will be in 20 years, the good news is we can get at near the bottom.

I did a Google search of the most expensive and the search result that was returned had one interesting item, which was edible gold. For real, I never knew they was such a term as that.

It also depends on how people perceive it to be goods. Diamonds, may be more expensive than gold. And rubies can also be more expensive than diamonds. But if it's real estate, it's more expensive than all. I think so.

I would have thought saffron would be the most expensive commodity. Its certainly more
expensive than Gold and yes bitcoin can be considered as one of the most expensive
commodities in the world. Amazing when you think it is not a physical item.

Stil, Come to think about it bitcoin is the new Gold in todays history/era and because it is common you know and see the reason that bitcoin got to help people and make everyone rich way back before bitcoin started.

In my opinion, as what we had experience in our country. The most expensive commodity are goods. The high increase of the price of rice, the most affected are those belong to the lower level community.

Probably those sapphire, emerald, ruby type things, they feel like they must be really expensive as well and I think they pass as comodity. Not sure if they are really commodity or if they are expensive for that scale but it feels like it.

Oil is a "comoddity" if you count that, it is not really that expensive if you take a litre of it but if you consider the sales of that happens by galons that could be considered expensive as well. If we are looking at as less space as possible for as much money as possible than we can count bronze and silver and also platinum could be one of the highest ones as well and truffles are really expensive for each one as well.

There are many stuff that really worths a lot but it all depends on the size you want and what you are looking for in price. If you collect a million iphone X together it probably only covers couple dozen containers at most but it would worth insanely.

Aside from gold and other currencies and including crypto, a commodity that is steadily increasing and hurts my purse is the price of gas. Everyday I travel and as days gone by the price is increasing. The fact that Christmas is coming will make things harder as all general needs will dramatically hike in price. I will disregard this event if crypto will also follow and doubled even from past ATH.

Inflation growing at a faster pace than wages places the average worker further behind via declining standard of living. The greater number of distractions society faces from social media and other time wasting / time draining content can make it more difficult to focus on goals. It becomes harder to differentiate between what is important and what is not.

Basic necessities like healthcare, higher education, homes and student loans becoming more expensive generally implies greater quantities of time are required to afford these things. Rent, food and basic living prices are also inflating which implies less time.

Many people need to work 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. This leaves them with little or no time to devote to other things. Having the time to pursue hobbies, side hustles, personal interests. Or even having the time to spend with love ones, family or people you care about. These things are increasingly becoming a luxury. And so I'll go out on a limbe and say time is the most expensive commodity. And possibly also one of the more key commodities which will determine success/failure in a person attempting to attain financial freedom, start their own business, become their own boss, get a college degree or otherwise invest in things which could dramatically affect the quality of their life for the better.

Except for diamonds of great value because it is extremely rare Bitcoin is also a valuable asset today and the value of bitcoin is growing year by year. With a small amount of money I still believe that the value of Bitcoin will continue to increase over time if the cryptocurrency market does not die.

You should specify your question, is this on physical commodity or digital. If you mean that is physical commodity of course the answer is diamond. This is the most expensive today or even in the future because the quantity is limited by the entity such as government and others. It aims to maintain the existence of source nature of diamond itself. In digital, I think Bitcoin is the highest value be because a single Bitcoin similar to a car price. 

You can also include oil in the discussion. Of course its obvious if we are talking about physical commodities because diamond and gold are very expensive. But there's another category that just recently pop-up, that is digital commodities so there's no doubt that bitcoin is the most expensive. Heck the price of 1 BTC is more expensive that a ounce of gold or 1 carat of diamond.

finally, a real talk user. I firmly believe oil can play a vital part in the economy of the world. Oil is a commodity that has the ability to impact everything that we have and need in this world. Take for example, goods in the groceries. If the price of Oil spiked in price, the prices of other commodities like groceries also increases, from production to delivery. everything depends on oil. Adding up to that let us be aware that the sources of natural gas is depleting, so expect that in the coming years, prices of other commodities will also increase. Diamonds, jewels, and other stones even fiat and crypto cannot be used to operate production. just saying. :)

If you're just talking about the most expensive"thing" in the market then I'll say precious gems and stones since they have absolutely no use and are just merely decorative. But if we're takling about a commodity where people iuse it all the time then I'd say crude oil is at the very top, considering that it is getting harder to get that stuff now.

This is what happening now here in my country all particular basic necessity for individual are suffered for inflation because of OIL PRICE HIGH in the world market. that's why many of the poor constituents are directly affected because o this circumstances,

I don't know if we are talking about digital crypto or physical commodity. But the most value commodity is Time, Time is gold, time is money and time is very important.

If we're barring precious metals, then I'd guess houses and prime lots are way up there in the list of most expensive commodities. I'd think next will be tuition in a collegiate level and then a car or any vehicle. These are what i think are the most expensive things money can buy barring precious metals.

Actually commodities are not only about metals or valuables item that are often used such as gold, houses, property or others. if you look deeper into the most expensive commodity there is scorpion poison, I don't know why it can be so expensive, you can see on the internet, scorpion poisons are valued at 10 million USD per liter LOL..

gold and diamonds are precious metals and they cannot be touched by the monetary policy of a country so they stand alone and create their own value. bitcoin and altcoin are decentralized and are the same as gold and diamond which are immune to monetary policy and economic crisis, most crypto coins have a fixed supply so that it is not possible to cause inflation in a country with crypto

Recently i was searching the most expensive commodity through google and it can be called such as that because those commodity usually very rare and difficult to get and tritium is one of the most expensive commodity with the current price more than 10 millions dollar per KG

I believe the most expensive commodity right now is Air/oxygen. You would not know this until you are sick and have to be aided in breathing through hospital oxygen. At that moment the last thing you think of is business.

What bothers me to buy gold is the cost to acquire. Buying fees, tax, etc represent a real percentage to consider in the price. I am not even talking about the store which has a cost too and reduces so your profits if your plan is to sell it for a gain.

Yes maybe because I think it is the thing needed to make the nuclear reaction so 1kg is enough to blast a single country so the price will be high tho.But when we see the cryptos as community it may not yet reach the value of gold for now but in future we may see that bitcoin also in that region.

I think that the most expensive commodity is information. There is even the expression "Who owns the information, he owns the world." And this is actually the case, agree. This is the best way to fight with competitors, manage people and have control over them. And there are a lot of such examples.

Can't say for sure. Not sure why it's important. Either way, Bitcoin is one of them I consider. If you look at current Bitcoin market cap it may not stand too close to other classic precious metal but I'm sure it will be on par in a few years, when Bitcoin hits $100,000 or even $1 million. :D

The most expensive commodities at the moment aside of gold and diamond? This is a tough one but the answer will be bitcoin the rest of the substances or element use in making jewelries, watches and machines ( silver,copper and gems stone).

Just recently here in my country we also faced a circumstances about the inflation happened because of vegetable, rice and oil price high in the market where the voice of the mass people of course are not happy instead they are mad for what is happened. But after a weeks had past the prime commodities was little by little reduced its price were it turned to normal. so we constituents are now happy with the result of this things especially in oil price was totally down.

There are a lot of third world countries that have big troubles over small stuff on big countries. If the oil prices increases that is a bad news for british people but nothing life changing, if oil prices goes up some country gets the short stick and gets high inflation. Recently I have found old facebook messages of me that I have sent to my wife (girlfriend at the time) and we were talking about our wages and how we were living alright with the amount, that was about 5-6 years ago when I first started working and getting entry level jobs. Now I am making about 3 times the amount and it is still not enough for me, in 5 years the inflation went up so much that I am making 3 times the amount I used to make and still not living as good as those times. If this continues, I don't know what we will be capable of doing in 5 years.

As for your question, clearly bitcoin cannot be considered as a commodity because it is not in a raw form but rather a product from a raw origin.
In my opinion, the most expensive commodity at the moment is Gold. its value never diminishes to a low level but rather always appreciates through the years. Gold will always be constant and will always be there even if oil will run out.

It is expensive when talking about food but still, there’s a lot more expensive commodities like luxurious cars, popular brand items and a lot more. I wonder if gold is not harmful to human body since it requires intense amount of heat to melt it and i doubt human body and digestive system have that amount of heat to digest this edible gold?

1 bitcoin is really an expensive commodity most specially if it comes a time that we are now legally using it as a mode of payment. Other than that, we can consider gems, stones and other. But this physical things are easy to make. Whats more expensive now is food and the extinction of animals we killed from time to time that cant be seen by the next generation.

I think those basic commodities to the fact that it is our daily needs and we will buy these no matter how price increased. Technically, luxuries are expensive than basic commodities but what makes the basic become expensive (not literally) because we value it for these are part of our daily life. Continuous increasing of the price of goods will be a great burden especially for poor people.

I believe Platinum is one of the highly expensive commodities (more than Gold and even more than diamonds in cases of the types of quality offered as platinum is highly rarely in findings). Though, it's better not to compare Bitcoin to these things as it's not yet a commodity but a speculative asset. Still if you would like to compare, Bitcoin is way beyond being called as expensive but in my views, though it has got a very handsome price tag attached, it is still far from being the number 1 in terms of market cap. Bitcoin needs to be very, very extraordinarily expensive from anybody's reach (even a rich person) to be able to get to a market cap so competitive that Gold would be like 1/10th in terms of market cap against BTC.

Diamonds are really overvalued, they aren't traded like other commodities like gold, sugar, beans, etc.  Diamonds get their value from marketing and the supply is controlled heavily.  Only suckers are paying thousands and even millions for flashy diamond rings.

Bitcoin can also become the most expensive currency in the world when it become limited in supply and demand fir it is still rising.
