Mt. Gox will be going bankrupt soon, either voluntarily or involuntarily.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

1,  If I knew MTGOX was going to go bankrupt,  why would I offer to buy MTGOX BTC? (Because I didn't know at that time)
2, I haven't made a single bitcoin trade on any exchange since early January, and luckily was too busy with my other stuff to buy even a single mtgox-BTC.

You only know about 25% of what really went on.
Go troll someone else.

Why don't you tell us the other 75% then since you pretend to know it...

how about you call mark and ask him for the cold storage wallet addresses the exchange had filled up before the supposed theft, so we can track down where the coins went to?

You seem to have had very close contact to him... why not just call him and ask for this info?

I believe that Roger always acted and spoke honestly and is not trying to hide anything. By speaking publicly through Youtube or forums he does expose himself to intense criticism and that takes guts and I commend him for responding in threads like this.

However...

I lost 81 BTC on Gox and that really hurts. The notion that we should all just move on and start again is too much right now. That is because there are too many unanswered questions. Only when there is a full and frank explanation of what really happened can we reach some sort of closure. For those of us now permanently impoverished by Gox, it is too soon to just forget.

+1 & yes roger is basically a good guy its just a frustrating situation.... i expect alot from early adopters, i dont see why i shouldn't?   I hope the early adopters have high expectations of any bitcoiners.

I need answers or my gox BTC to move on.

Or because while you did know it, you misjudged your power and importance. You figured you'll be able to prop it, and it turned out you weren't able to prop it.

For the record: MNW was forum banned for a very similar idiocy.

Seeing how this is your second time being a total idiot, after that sad breach of blockchain.info trust and privacy policies (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131608.msg1409677#msg1409677), you taking a year or so off for your other whatever the fuck they are would probably be best for all involved.

That way thermos won't have to actually ban your clowny ass.

#1 could be easily a ploy to get people to believe you now. If you knew they are going under and made claims to trust them then why not put a small portion in and call it a small "loss" rather than total loss. This would remove blame really easily as now you can claim as you did above "why would i offer to buy MTGOX BTC"?

Just my theory. It is possible.

We are after all talking about what was it, an offer to buy 100 BTC... ?
