I am notifying that a player at just-dice.com had lost 20 bitcoins and committed suicide by drinking poison while in the chat room.


Very sad news for this player, his aka name singleton and he was saving bitcoins to go to Brazil, but the impulsive gambling doomed him into losing his savings today.  I did try to talk with him, but I got in the chatroom to late, I didnt even see him lose his 20 btc,  I was there only for the few minutes before he left, so I hope people can stop blaming me for it.  You will see on the second screen shot I try talking with him.

RIP and I hope this wasn't not real.  If Dooglus can catch his IP, maybe we can find out.  Call the Authorities.

Singleton if you do read this, Please report your alive and well, this is not a joke.

Gambling is terrible, I've never seen the attraction to it (I have Bitcoin does that count...?) The house ALWAYS wins..

I remember checking out Just-Dice for the first time to actually see what 'Dicing' is (I still don't really understand the game :P) And I saw in chat bets of like 100 BTC and I was shocked lol I just x'd off and said these guys are crazy

I tried to get him to talk, but he still didnt care.  So try to get someone to contact  doog to give his money to save his life, but I dont have any power over that, if you look at the second image and first, I was taking him seriously and again you can see I told someone to contact Dooglus.  I wasn't the only one who said bye to him, I just didn't capture everyone saying bye. 

i don't think this is doog's responsibility.  it's up to the gambler to gamble responsibly right?

if a person committed suicide after gambling at a land-based casino, would the casino be at any fault?  Would that change if the person committed suicide on casino premises, rather than at home?

Call which authorizes, Im not sure how to handle online suicide.  Do you know how?  The only one who could have done it was the owenerr of the site, If he has the power to read the IP.  People had tried earlier to calm him.  I try to have a talk but he was so depress he wouldn't listen, I didnt get to screenshot it cause I was more worried about him at the time.  So I got the last part of chats as proof just in case he did took his life.

no your right is not his responsibility but sometimes doing the right thing is better not doing nothing at all.  If I was there and owner I would had given him back half and make sure he was banned from my games for life.

agree its a tricky situation.  As for giving back the money.  If singleton didn't actually try to commit suicide, i can see a lot of other scammers trying to gamble a shitton, and get back half of their stake if they lose by saying they're going to commit suicide.  If they win, they keep on doing it until they lose and then get back half.  Thats a winning strategy right there.

This opens the site for extortion from highrisk gamblers for high amounts of bankroll.  That is no way to run a business.

I'm pretty sure if i were Doog, i wouldn't respond based on those fears alone.  Too many scammers out there.

First off, why bring up the sites name in the thread? Wouldn't it have been enough saying "on a dice site"? Instead of trying to bring negativity into it with a suicide embedded to it?

Suicide over 20 btc is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, there are people that have lost over 4000 btc on gox and they are still alive. Only instance I would consider suicide over 20btc would be if I was living in Kenya or some other 3rd world country shit.

OK, I know singleton in person and I went to just-dice yesterday because I knew he was playing there the last few days and I used to watch him doing, then I saw people talking about this and posting this thread. Here's what's going on right now:

First and most important, he's hospitalized but not dead.

I called him yesterday but nobody answered and then today morning and his brother told me the full story:

He sent him an email with his accounts and wallet passwords saying he was trying to raise money no matter what to move from Brazil with his girlfriend and that he lost about all of it gambling. He said he was close to the amount he needed but pretty much lost control and lost it all. He didn't notify his brother of what he was going to do and since it was past midnight there his brother didn't even saw the email at that time.
He then proceeded to take the pentobarbital; he graduated in the field of chemistry a while ago. Looks like he took a lot of it but vomited and his parents noticed him hitting the things and took him to the hospital really fast while he told them what happened and he entered the ER immediately.

Apparently his stomach didn't want him to die so early and threw out most part of the poison before it was fully absorbed, and even though it was a rough night he will most likely survive it. It did more bad than good and now he'll probably have hospital bills to pay with whatever was left from his money.

I'll keep those interested updated.

The fact any of you take this seriously is insane, the amount of suicides people claim on the internet is insane.

I personally believe it happened, and  i feel bad for him, but he should have known his limits.

To whoever is calling a person is fake, it could be a cry for help also.   I have done something like this awhile ago on live chat and some woman saved me cause she took me seriously.  

So we cant judge what really happen and pray that he is ok

I know his name, his family, his email and I knew his plans and if you knew him you would know it too.
