You need to let us know the country you lives now and the country you intended to visit .

You should think about Banglades, Vietnam or some country in Asia. They are cheap and good air :)

Consider travelling to Bali! Great tastefull food for very cheap prices. You can have a meal for around 1 USD! In the more local area's it's even cheaper.

Southeast asian countries are the cheapest i think. Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines should be on your list!

Most South East Asian countries are not just affordable but also the money and time are definitely worth it.

If you are traveling with a small budget, do not travel abroad. Travel in the country because I'm sure in every country you have beautiful hidden places. Thus, find that place by you so that people know the hidden place. Traveling with low budget is very possible if done in the country without having to go to someone else's country.

Cuba is not dangerous at all, but Americans need to go to Mexico first and get a permit at the Cuban embassy so their passport isn't "tainted". Not sure if the Obama administration relaxed this, but Americans used to have a hard time getting there.

Mexico itself is OK, just don't do stupid things like going to bad places with unknown people at night etc, and don't look rich.

In Venezuela thanks to the magic of hyperinflation, you can indeed feel like a wealthy person. It is actually dangerous to enter the country with more than about 500 USD, you can become target in the airport itself. There is a case of someone from Egypt that made the mistake of declaring bringing more than 10k USD to customs (which is what the rules say you should), apparently someone from customs or someone from inside the airport's ("secure" area) was involved with a criminal gang and gave the info, the guy was gunned down at an exit gate to steal his money. I would agree with what others have been saying here, Asia is one of the cheapest country to travel like Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. There's a lot of tourist spots around that region so for me its the best destination and the cheapest.

I live in Brazil and cannot believe what these guys are saying about countries not being dangerous.

Indonesia has beautiful beaches in Bali; Thailand has floating market; Philippines has old churches; And, Cambodia has temples. Those are the most popular kind of places to visit in Southeast Asia. Absolutely correct mate,i just don’t know why people wanted to be a tourist to other countries while they have their own great places.
Each countries given by God an equality specially to their spots,what we only need is to make a research or ask the tourism division to educate us of where are those good places to gisit

Being the Famous beach of our time,its not the high compared to other luxury resorts in the world,and theres an options if you rented hotels near the water then its more expensive than those from not so near hotels.
And the foods are at reasonable prices in freshness of them all,i have been there for couple of times and i can say that its cheaper than others
