Title: Janet Yellen makes Treasounous totally False statement
Post by: Bitcoinpro on February 28, 2014, 06:45:54 AM
any government must do its best to protect citizens from fraud and deceptive entities like Mtgox,

it is most certainly possible to enact regulation and it will be done,

taxes must be collected on transactions,

you can thank Mark for all this and the forum moderators for protecting a Ponzi scheme

by promoting disinformation and acting like they are above the law

I am not understanding.

How do you want the government's guns to be used against Bitcoin users?

Crypto's are a matter of National Security, many people have pointed this out not just myself

virtually any misleading statement by someone in such a high position like this could be

considered treason, if you said it on the other hand it would have just been small talk

Without me ever signing an agreement for it? Thats stealing and you know it. I don't send worthless things to people and charge them for it either... In fact I would get a lot of problems if I did and they never willingly would pay..

To be fair, I do not think there is any reason to believe that Yellen is any less competent then Bernanke or Greenspan. The global financial system is headed for another major disruption, regardless of what Yellen does.

When most countries ban Bitcoin and only US allows it as bubbles are how the financial system operates, it cannot be a global system. It's already banned in Vietnam, Russia, and partially in China and India. You understand this is a huge portion of the world's population in these countries. Any negative news from China will lead to a huge crash. There's no Mt.Gox anymore and Bitstamp closely follows the movements of Huobi and BTC-e follows Bitstamp, so, you get my point. Big investors already have lost and if they lose further, they will cut their loses and the crash will be imminent and permanent this time.

If the US doesn't *attempt* to ban Bitcoin it will be a global system regardless of what other countries have done. Other countries will be forced to revert their stance at the risk of losing opportunity. If China were pro-Bitcoin, the US would need to be pro-Bitcoin to compete... It only takes 1 world power to ensure the success of Bitcoin, after that it's just a matter of time.
