This person approached me and offered me the same check this: https://i.ibb.co/cgzSZK8/44302378.png
I wouldn't worry that much because his actions are very amateurish, but it might work in some cases, so you have to be cautious, for me I always propose to send files to my clients via email attachments for more security so they wouldn't worry. as emails generally have up to date antiviruses.
Never open any .exe file ever sent to you from anyone; under any circumstances unless you're sure of what you're doing

Did he/she actually send you the file itself? Or is your communication only limited to what you posted?

Nope, he didn't, I was trying to get more information from him about what he intends to do, it has like 2 more messages about me telling him that it's rather amateurish.

Fair enough, was thinking of attempt to reverse engineer it if possible, to see if it's been used w/ other BitcoinTalk accounts (or if there's any other connections).
