Title: The US Senate met with a Fugitive and now a Wanted Man
Post by: Bitcoinpro on February 28, 2014, 10:32:54 AM
Mark Karpeles  :D

this is the most crazy incident I can recall,

the entire US Senate now has Blood on its hands

I made the assumption years ago the Bitcoin Foundation was completely incompetent

this forums moderators backed the Foundation like it was their own baby

even Gavin Anderson is now a laughing stock and hes the head programer of Bitcoin

 :D

Granted he oversaw the biggest catastrophe in Bitcoin history, but describing him as a fugitive? He is on the run from whom exactly?

Mr Karpeles duped noone. The problems with Mt. Gox were prevalent for months and whilst its sad that some people lost their money they too have to take some accountability for their actions.

The question some need to ask is, "why did I decide to continue investing in Gox when there were numerous warning on this board for months prior to its collapse"?

Its an easy thing to make Karpeles a scapegoat as it deviates from the realisation....that greed overcame sense for many.

I recall reading on here last week about a member continuing to pump 1000's into Gox, buying the coins cheap despite the warning signals. To whom should the loss of that money be attributed to? Karpeles or the greedy investor?

At the end of the day Mr Karpeles is an incompetent person..and not a wretch like o'l Vlad Putin.

By all means pursue your lost money..but some need to consider the humanity in constant vilification of mr karpeles

Where was Mark Karpeles charged with a crime?  I must have missed it.  I have been looking for it to happen at some point but I have not seen it yet.

Why would a fugitive participate in a press conference on live TV in Japan?  It does not seem like something that someone trying to escape justice would do.

Gezuz how much money has he got to defend himself if he is appearing on National TV without shackles

I can prove you a liar at least on this point.

And talking about Moderation, how is this thread Bitcoin Discussion? It seems to me it's Mark Karpeles Discussion and it will be moved to Off-Topic unless you give me a good answer in the next 2 minutes.

This is my main and only account. I started crytocurrencies in December with Doge, lol.

As for you, you may be a Sr. Member, but you're acting like a spoiled little prick and I can clearly see you have much to learn about life; but hey, maybe all the pain you'll eventually inflict on yourself by being a spolied little prick will eventually help you grow up. Someday at least...
