I tagged one account, and the other one I had already tagged.  I don't get why he made a thread to announce that he sold his account.  Was he trying to scam ACCOUNT SELLER 009 by making the bought account worthless, trust-wise?  The thread wasn't edited, so I'm a bit baffled as to why he did that.

Let's see if I get any PMs from either party.  If I do, I'll check back here with the details.

By the way, if you want to PM me with accounts that need tagging, I invite you to do so.  I don't think anyone else on DT is actively tagging account sellers, so making a separate thread for each one is a bit of a waste.  I'll try to take a look at Invites & Accounts and see who's selling what.  As I said in another thread, I have that section blocked--I probably shouldn't, but all of those threads on my feed is a PITA.

<snip>
Your post was like sex for my retinas.  Awesome job linking those account buyers.

Edit: Aaaaand the PM, as expected.
Hello,
I have not sold the account until.
Plz remove the tag.
I PM'ed him back with a link to this thread.

Please don't quote huge blocks of text.

You claimed the account was hacked when, exactly?  After you got caught selling your account?  That's a very convenient excuse.

Replied!!! Plz check
Please do not PM me.  This is a community issue, and everything should be done out in the sunshine for all to see.  It's important that others can share their opinions on the matter.

Hello community.
I would like to respond to the accusation.
I don't know why and when but my account was hacked months ago.
I had no access to it and in my absence a lot of things took place on the forum with my account.
It was not me who posted the thread:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4922155.0
Some hacker who accessed my email without my permission and performed some illegal activities including changing the pass of my bitcointalk account too.
He then (perhaps) sold the account to this user:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2308049

By several tries i have again gained the access to my account.
Perhaps it is too late now  ??? But yet i would like to pleed to the DT members who gave me the red trust.
I firmly agree what happened but it was not my fault.
My fault was i used a poor security mail services which gave the hacker access to my mails.
I pleed not guilty and leave the decision on the DT members again who gave me the negative ratings.

Thankyou and waiting for replies.

So how did you recover your account?  Do you have proof of doing so?

Title: Re: Sr. Member selling his own account to a forum account seller.
Post by: klien_br on September 21, 2018, 04:48:36 PM
Unfortunately, i don't have any kind of proof regarding how i recovered my password.
I just tried attempting a lot of password which i guess the hacker might have kept and luckily i found one after several tries.
I than managed to change the password to the account ASAP. (you can see the password change notification in my trust page)

P.S: I can see that you have blocked my personal messages. I don't know what conversation you had with the hacker and how he treated you as i can't see my entire message history. I would like to request you to give me a change and if you find any shaddy behaviour again with my account, you can tag me for it and i won't pleed for it.

Edit:- Also i have not transferred any merits. The transferred merits you can see on my merit page can be transferred by the hacker and he/she may(perhaps) own some of those account where he transferred 10 merits ???
You can have a look at my merit transfer page:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=977526

So you re-hacked your account based on a weak password on the hacker's part?  Yeah, right.  I don't believe that for a minute.

Did you ever start a thread in Meta about the hacking?

Anyone here buying his story?

Yes, i kind of re-hacked my account after several tries.

I have not started a thread in Meta regarding it as i was hardly active after "June 10, 2018"
My last post made by me was from "July 26, 2018" and after it i hardly payed attention towards the forum due to some personal issues.
I can see that the hacker changed the password and accessed my account after "August 19, 2018"
From that time untill "Sept 18, 2018" i was completely unaware about my suspicious account activities.
I than managed to get access to my account and here i am now again.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but someone has already pointed out that you tried to sell your account once last December, well within the now established period when you had control of this account.

Therefore, even if we believed you that you didn't post the one sale, you've admitted the other was your doing. The red trust is perfectly valid.

Not buying his story. The only successful attempts that I saw in Meta when original user was able to get back the account was this:

Hacked and Changed Email addresses Account using Yopmail accounts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4679777.msg42232746#msg42232746)
Peter0425 account hacked (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4497259.msg41907856#msg41907856)

There's no mentioned that they're able to get it back because the hackers used weak password. They said that the hackers used yopmail, a disposable email address. They created the same yopmail account and then reset the password.

The only valid argument though is that is possible that the hackers abuses his merit and send to someone which is the case on the second link I provided. But still it could be his alts for all we know.

jimmyhate you have been caught supporting (respectively) included in a scammers group that makes false accusations trying to defraud newbies accounts for buying old accounts from your group and pay for alleged marketing services. This group that you are part of is selling trusted accounts starting from $275. How do you comment on that? Since in this post, you are trying to promote goodwill, why support a scammers group, are you part of this group? This is raising suspicions why would you support scammers and ransomware group?
