How do you like the Xperia? I love in the "Safety Notes" it says "Do not root your device." Ha! That's the first thing I do, going all the way back to my Eris. Currently, only English and Spanish are available. Text to translate is: Quote Premine Wallet (PMC) Premine - The Future of Bitcoin Revealed Preminecoin (or just PMC) is a new cryptocurrency with zero inflation and zero cost of maintenance. It is a 'proof of concept' that shows mining for transaction fees is a sustainable future for all deflationary cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin itself. PMC is extremely exclusive, with only 499 thousand to ever exist (Bitcoin: 21 million; Dogecoin: unlimited, more than 100 billion). Premine Wallet allows you to have your Premines always with you! No computer required. FEATURES: • This wallet is de-centralized and peer to peer. No server is needed. • Conversion to and from national currencies and Bitcoins. • Sending and receiving of Premines via NFC, QR-codes or Premine URLs (premine:address). • Address book for regularly used Premine addresses. • When you're offline, you can still pay via Bluetooth. • System notification for received coins. • App widget for Preminecoin balance. I'm working on an update to the PMC Android Wallet (http://a.preminer.com). The new version will have the option to import a private key by scanning (or pasting/entering) a private key. This is especially useful to redeem a paper wallet (ex: http://Preminer.com) or to use a vanity address. BIP38-encrypted keys are supported, so any private key QR Code shown on a Paper Wallet can be scanned. Disadvantages are: - The whole blockchain must be reset. And it takes several minutes to re-download. - Decrypting a BIP38 key takes about 30 seconds on an Xperia Z. It may take a long time on low-end devices. Besides that, it's working OK. In a future version I'll try to improve these points. But I'm not sure it's even possible. This is a new feature, not present in the original Bitcoin Wallet (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet), so it needs to be deeply tested. Tests should include: - Importing a normal private key. - Importing a BIP38-encrypted private key, which can be generated here (http://preminer.com). - Trying to import an invalid key, or using an incorrect password. - Verifying the funds of the imported address appear and can be spent. - Overall checking. - Suggestions to make it more user friendly. If you have an Android device and can help me testing it, please PM me. If you don't have any PMC, I can send one to your paper wallet so you can test it. Title: Re: *** Official PMC Android Wallet *** Post by: EcuaMobi on March 21, 2014, 03:10:34 PM I've just sent a PM to the testers with the link. Thanks.
Also, if anybody can help translating the new feature to any of these languages: cs, da, de, el, eo, fr, hu, id, it, iw, mk, nl, pl, pt-BR, ru, sk, sv, tr, vi, zh, zh-TW please do. I've written it only in English (en) and Spanish (es). Strings to be translated are: http://pastebin.com/CksdSJJV Code: <string name="import_privkey_title">Import private key</string> Title: Re: *** Official PMC Android Wallet *** Post by: Warning__3 on March 21, 2014, 04:03:18 PM Wow, Finally! this could really be a game changer for PMC! :) now back up to 0.001 btc each! :D
