One of my friends has just lost $10,000 in football gambling and I have been trying to encourage him.  I will like to find out how much you have lose in gambling and how did you manage the loses. I know many has makes some profits from gambling and some has lost significant amounts of money as this market is a very risky one.

I didnt lose much in gambling with crypto's. I've been applying discipline when I gamble since it has been precious to me. Few years ago I've lost a total of 0.015 within a single day and value of bitcoin isnt much by that time.

Keep on encouraging your friend that the only way to recover is to accept his fate for now and work his on own and save again that money, use it for better way of living.

Previously, some of my lost wasn't that bad due to I got more wins rather than losses. Bitcoin amount of 0.007 btc was just small compared to what I had lost at around 0.015 btc, that's why it doesn't affect me emotionally. I learned how to handle my gambling plays at a certain limits which some gamblers couldn't do, because there's an emotional attachment on it.

I played my 0.04 BTC last year and I did manage to make it to 0.1 but I got too greedy and lost it all. I wasn’t happy and I wasn’t able to think straight knowing that I lost a lot of money. It’s just for entertainment, we all say, but it’s really all about what we learn and experience. The money lost, would be hard to recover, it’s up to the person to realize this and not gamble more than what you can afford.

Hey 10k is a huge loss did he loose out on one match, or playing multiple matches? I would like to quantify my two highest looses in fiat and btc. I lost around 5k in fiat while playing the big bash league, just when I thought the world would be over I decided to play another 5k and I won that match, basically i squared off my looses.
Now coming to my btc loos, this took place when I had just started playing in excitement to win big I played a roll of 0.01 btc and lost it, but I didn't try to recover it though. One should know when to stop, that's the key to gambling.

Yes he loss the $10,000 in one match and because of the amount involved he is discouraged about everything.  I think he go too far and that is what affect every gamblers. When the win two or three games the greed do set in and make them to bet more and in the process lose heavy.

My biggest loss is 8 bitcoins around 2011. It was around the time when 1 bitcoin was worth between $12 and $15.

I started out with 2 bitcoins. Gambled and won 6 additional btc betting on sports. I grew overconfident from winning and began to make bad decisions based on emotion and the expectation that I would guess the correct outcome the way I did in the past. That led to my downfall.


That's something I struggle with. A very common theme in gambling and investing where people initially make good decisions which lead to them being profitable. However, they lack the mental discipline and determination to stay focused. Eventually they lose their composure make decisions based on emotion and past patterns of winning and things fall apart.

Where did he bet $10k btw? Most online gambling sites have maximum bet limits lower than $10k.

Well that sucks. That's why it has been said so many times that you should never bet all-in even if you feel most confident about a certain outcome. Sh!t happens. Successful bankroll management is wagering 5% of the bankroll per bet tops and never ever going above that limit otherwise a series of losses will bust you. I guess your friend went all-in and now has no funds to try recouping his loss.

$ 10k is a very large amount that I might not spend in gambling. My biggest loss in a single game was only about $ 200 and that was a long time ago. When in a relatively large losing position, I would usually try to chase it little by little.

$600-$800 is a normal lost for me in a night in a casino. I just slept it over and think that tomorrow will be a good day for me to recover my lost. But this year alone, I calculated that I'm negative $5K-$6K already. Lots of money if you would think of it, but gamblers will be gamblers.

Depends if you ask me in dollar value or bitcoin value ? If you mean bitcoin than the biggest I lost was 2.2 bitcoin back when bitcoin was cheap, it was easy to gather that much bitcoin back when I gambled. I remember gambling with 0.1 like it was nothing. However if you are asking in dollar value than highest I lost was $1000 bet on a poker, I did not put up thousand
dollars on poker, I gradually won that amount from others and than lost myself so I don't know if it counts, not my own money but I could have just said "enough" and get out but I did not. Which I think should consider as mine.

It was a small amount that time but whoever now just see that 8 bitcoin loss will be shocked.



In gambling, we never ever should try to recover back our lost money because in this process we may lose even more. So try to get back your lost money from other investments, not from gambling.

I didn't lose much in gambling because made some money in sports betting and lost some money in casino games but surely overall lose will be very less.

losing $10,000 is big money for me, and I cannot think about how long I can save that money. but I guess I don't lose too much money, and I don't calculate how much money that I've lost. until now, I didn't manage the loss, and I let it away without thinking about to recover in gambling because I know that to recover in gambling, it is impossible for me, and I am not a good gambler so I will skip recovering.

I have lost around $1000 over night in just few slot rolls and blackjack back than when I was only making around $200 per month from different online ventures so that was comparitively biggest lost I have ever had in my life. But that also taught me a lesson that I should never gamble which I can't afford to loss and nowadays I only bet few bucks and I am not quite fan of betting thousands on football or any other matches.

Nobody can predict the outcome of the game so its just like rolling your luck dice.

Highest loss I've ever had was around 5 BTC, back when the price was still at around 150 USD.
All lost with a single bet in dice on a x1.5 multiplier.

Didn't hurt that much at the time, but now I do kinda regret it :P

I think 0.6 BTC on sportsbook, back then when i was really addicted into sportsbetting and betting all in after got lose streak. That was the biggest lost i ever made on sportsbook until now.

0.2 Bitcoin worth around 4000$ when i lost it. Played 1.5x on Dice game and encountered 12 reds in a row. Actually when we experience a losing streak we lost track of the bets and forgets when to stop. This eventually makes us bust our whole balance.

So far it is only 0.3 BTC for me and that is back way last year from now, I had stop playing gambling ever since, I really not recommend playing gambling as a way of earning bitcoin because  it is not a way at all, I really think this is only a leisure that needs to be keep on a balance because you can really get addicted to it, Because there are people that are really very lucky in gambling and tend to keep up the pace until they become millionaire.

Sad to hear that man but this thing is just actually normal if you do engage into gambling. All of us do have tendency to lose on the amounts in a short span of time the same as on making profit it. $10k would really be a big amount to lose up. Talking into my situation I haven't lose out more than $2000 because everytime I do gamble I do only get a small partition on what I have earned on this cryptomarket but well anyone do have different financial capacity which means lose amount will always be different too.

That is a lot of money, I will probably be down for weeks or months if I ever lost that kind of money, while I am close to break even in all the time in which I have gambled, I have suffered streaks of bad luck as most people that have gambled for a long time.

My worst loss was when I was playing in a poker tournament and I was close to the final table, I played very solid poker and I was in a decent position in terms of chips but in my final hand of that tournament I was facing the leader of the tournament and I got a full house, I was sure that I was going to win that hand and I raised my opponent, then he raised me back and I went all in, I expected for him to fold but he called immediately and that was when I realized before he even showed my his hand that he had the nuts and had the only hand that could beat me in those circumstances a full house with an higher rank of the set.

Wow huge of money they waste for the gamblng habits, i advice to you guide your friend to avoid a lot of loses in gambling teach how to control theirselve putting huge betting money.

My lost playing in the gambling from the start i try to play gambling is almost 500$ but after that loses i never go back and any online games becuase i put in mind gambling isn't my world.

Well he cannot avoid anymore losses because he already lost a lot, what do you think of that anyways? It’s hard to control if you are feeling frustrated and wants to win. Losing money in gambling should already be accepted, unlike when losing money in an investment. Gambling has higher risk than that.

of course your friend feels very frustrated because of losing that much money, it is difficult to restore a good mood if indeed the person who gambles is not a person who is a lot of money, surely he will always remember the loss that he has experienced or even he can feel traumatized by gambling forever.

Have you been encouraging him to play again or you just have been trying to comfort him? Because I would not play again after losing that amount of money to be honest. As for me, I once lost $400 against my friends. We want to bet high. But I have been away from gambling for a long time. It really can affect your life and make it miserable. It is fun if you ask me. But what is the point of having fun if you are losing your money and health.

It seems you have too lost a big amount and regretting it now. But good thing is that now you seems to be staying away from it and this is a good learning experience that once you lost you should be rationale enough to know what is right and wrong for you.

Not a big one because I don't gamble with high stakes. I think the highest amount that I've ever lost in one day was 0.01BTC with BTC trading below 5000 USD.
When I read about people losing 1 BTC or more it makes me wish I had so much money to play with.

I forgot on how much the biggest lost I've made with gambling but its not that much like others here. I gamble for profit before but when my trial wasn't so good I shifted for fun and that made me gamble for few pennies and didn't went seriously there.

Just somebody requires to beaks the ice of those addicted people and help them understand that had they being investing or start to invest in crypto currency their is a good potential that your money will multiply in coming time and will help you to pay some of your debts and monthly bills easily.

Once I lost 600k+ sats in one hit. I would never bet such big amount intentionally even with 98% win chance. But at the time I was betting with less than 0.5% win chance, so absolutely certainly I made an unintentional roll. After making 100-150 losing bets with 50 sats I decided to double the bet and hit the MAX button not noticing what I'm doing (was distracted by chatting at the same time). And ... yeah, I lost. When I told about the incident in the chat, one guy told me "Imagine if it wasn't a losing bet!". Yeah, I know, it would be 1.2+ BTC. But I lost, which was pretty much predictable.

I also lost a lot of money in soccer betting, that losses happened when I won in large numbers, was dissatisfied and wanted to continue to win gambling with greed that couldn't be controlled, so I lost a lot of money at that time. So after the loss, then I tried and continued to control my emotions well when I gambled, slowly financially began to recover even though it was not 100%.

I have lost 0,5 ETH in general, but at the same time i won 1 ETH. So in the long run, we still lose to the casino, but sometimes we get a big win.

This is damn shit and high amount for me. Instead of this you may invested on the trading of somewhere. I have used the nitrogen sports for some time but I have lost only finally.
If looking to make money in gambling this betting with football matches will be suggestion to invest buddy.

I've only lost around 50 EUR at one time because I usually keep my bets small, I have watched too many friends lose everything to gambling so I will make sure I never end up like them.

I lost around $500 betting on a CS:GO match where one team made a comeback from a seemingly impossible scoreline and won in overtime (something like 15-6 to 15-19), though I soon recovered all my funds and a bit extra after betting on other matches right after that one. I've got a net profit in CS:GO betting, though I don't bet nearly as much as I used to about two years ago, but I still like to bet in increments of $25 or $50.

I once lost $250 playing Roulette in a land casino one night. I was not very happy with myself. Since then, I decided to bet no more than $50 per casino visit, whether I win or lose.

My biggest bet and biggest lost was around $2,000 in single bet of traditional gambling game. I was using martingale at that time and the last bet was $2,000 and unluckily lost it. It was happened long time ago when I was an addicted gambler (no days without gambling), luckily I could manage myself to take the reality and did not decide to try to recover the lost. After that, I promised to myself to not gamble more than what I have in my pocket. To be honest, half of my last $2,000 bet was a loan money from my friend but I could pay it back few months later.

Either way for me it was large losses in BTC. Keep in mind this was 2015 when BTC was cheap like $200 USD.

The first large loss was accidentally clicking the MAX BET button while doing manual bet. Basically it was 50/50 but with my luck the next roll was a lose. The entire balance was drained and I think it was pretty close to a coin.

Second one was similiar to everybody here. Basically martingaling thinking that it's impossible to get 15 losses in a row. I don't remember the amount but it was also pretty close to a BTC and the base bet was very small but the 15 losses in a row which lead to me doubling after every time made the bets go up pretty high.

I think I lost 1000 dollars one night, that was the highest loss for me, highest in one night, of course in bitcoins.But that`s nothing compared with how much I won with bitcoin gambling.I never pay too much attention how much I lost, simple because when I deposit money for gambling I don`t care if I lose all of that, I have my gambling bankroll and I deposit just part of it, than if I lose I deposit once again. I spoke here many times about it here, in gambling you need to push many times, and as long you have with what to push you have chances to win something, gambling is a game of winning and losing, and after losing streak you need to be brave rise your bets and wait your big win to come, it doesn`t happen every time but it happen. If you thin that gambling is just winning or losing you are very wrong, follow your loss and try to hit your winning hands with raised bets, it`s how you survive in gambling and make big wins.

It was really a big loss, sorry. It takes  great strength to not lose your mind after such a loss. Good that you decided to not try to recover it. I'm wondering was it dice game you were playing? And what was your initial bet? Because many people think that with a bankroll of $2,000 and 1 satoshi as initial bet it's almost impossible to lose with martingale. You said it was long time ago, so I presume $2k was something over 3 BTC at the time, right? To lose 3 BTC with 1 sat as initial bet in dice martingale you have to hit 25 reds in a row playing with 50% win chance. That happens very rarely, but still happens.

Good for you then, congrats. It is really important to control yourself and set up a limit.

I lost half a bitcoin on a big bet after a team had just won big.    They then just went ahead and lost big just as much to the same exact team they had just beaten, that made no sense to me.    However while I was losing my bet, I did open up a side bet and start to bet the other team would have a turn around win.
So I lost 0.5 BTC but won about 0.2 BTC on my sidebet I had rapidly opened up during the game.    It was lucky to have such facilities available at the time.   Plus I got some cash back, referral money and obviously previous winnings so no biggy I guess

Losing around 0.5 btc on a single match on world cup, that was the biggest lost i ever made as gambler, i think i can't sleep properly for 2 days because of that.

Well its sad to hear that people lose a whole lot of money in gambling and then there are also people who become rich in a day with gambling, but the amount of people losing is more than the people wining in gambling.

Lol don't play with the amount that you can't afford to lose mate. it's a good idea by limiting the amount to play, it will keep you out from big losses and also addiction. when I was an addict some time ago, I spent time gambling every day, thinking that I could live from gambling,I play a lot of games from soccer bet, tennis bet, dice and so on but from 1 btc capital I have. what I get is more than 50% loss, shame.

The highest amount I have lost in gambling was 56000 in my local currency which is equal to $600 at one time. But that was not online or in casino. That was in my local place because in my country gambling is not allowed and the police will arrest you if they found you while gambling. I didn’t play for long time because of no money in hand. That was the worst situation for me.

I lost 0.01 Bitcoin in HYIP sites like auroramining last year October 2017 😁 I consider investing in HYIP sites a gambling that time. I don't even know that it's risky and will scam you when the sites are not nowhere to be found. LMAO. I'm a beginner in crypto that time. And that's the hilarious experienced I've ever had. And after trying 3rd attemp in investing in other HYIP sites. I stop and switch into Trading. My first exchange is Binance.

That's a lot and not a significant loss, but I think you should be thankful that you didn't get arrested in your country knowing that it's illegal there. That's the hard part of it. You might feel limited by the situation because you can never pull out everything. It is definitely a dangerous situation from the start.

My biggest lost in gambling is around $200, since in our country there's a lot of gambling anywhere you go and its really popular that time so I tried my luck there not knowing that I'm already losing money. I also loss in online gambling around $100 which makes me more broke that time, and I think I don't eat my food for 1 day because of that loses. Its hard to lose money especially when you work hard on it, but you have to move forward and keep telling yourself that gambling is really not good so stay away from it, and learn from all your mistakes.

you should learn from your losses and never do it again. you can play gambling but you need to remember that you still need money to buy food and I hope that in the future, you don't have to get the same experience as before. yes, we need to stay away from gambling and if we want to play gambling, don't play too long because we can risk a bigger money inside the game and the chance for us to get lost will bigger.

I'm so ignorant before as well and as a newbie I once became a victim of it but after that, it never happened again.

With mine it wasn't so big but I took that as a lesson and that's why every time I see someone who's promoting it. I'm stopping them in promoting it because its just a scam.

When talking about gambling in real life, I also only suffered the biggest loss of $100. Since that incident I have had a fairly large debt at my work at that time. But by experiencing this I can leave gambling in real life, because the income we get from our own sweat is better to save or spend on useful things like buying food etc.

You are telling a story of your friend and the question is how much you lost. Tell us about yourself. As I want to tell you that I have lost about $3500 in last football world cup in a single bet. That is a huge amount for me. Earning this money is very hard and takes long time. You know that addicted gambler cannot leave gambling, the same is with me.

Once we enter gambling, always expect losing stakes because that is always with gambling and for sure no one here didn't experience losing. Yes, we also need to think positive at some point for us to motivate ourselves and encourage ourselves for a good outcome but expect also some losing stake because gambling is really risky, I've already lost some money with gambling but not a huge amount because I don't want to lose money in gambling that I can't manage, I just play the amount that I can afford to lose so that even if I lose I can still move on as I want.

I played more different games in gambling but my huge lost is in dice game i do not know hum much the exact amount but it more or less 1 bitcoin but the value before is not more than 1k dollar, yes of course the regret is there if i save that amount i am a millionaire now. Usually people who have played for a long time in gambling can't remember how many losses they have gotten. all they do is continue to play and increase capital thinking that they can recover losses and make a profit but it continues to increase losses. I know that because I've experienced that. maybe the loss is more than 1btc because I played long time enough

And because the losses have piled up so much, their wins are basically just a recovery from the losses that they had. A long-time gambler who have lost 2BTC in total doesn't even deserve to celebrate when he hit the jackpot and got 1BTC for it. He could have enjoyed 2BTC by just staying away from gambling. The crazy thing about this is that most gamblers don't really recognize their "wins" as just a recovery from losses so they spend the money so easily. They're thinking that they "won" it when they basically just got a portion of their lost money back.

Trying to recover from losses is what makes gamblers stick to gambling as well. With this, they finally have a "mission" that they feel they are compelled to fulfill. During the process they end up having more and more losses, so they feel more and more compelled to recover them. It's a loop that you can only get out of when you do the conscious choice and commit to that choice forever.

I never bet to many money on cryptocurrencies. But i also made some huge losses. The most of them just because i dont want to sell and hold the coin, and now they are worthlesss. As example the ETHgas airdrop coin. Before the pump i buyed some for some dollars. On the peak i could sell it to one ethereum. But this time the ethereum blockchainw as totally overleaded so i could not make any transaction, and i think it hodl it because it will be worth a lot more.

I can say that my big loss is in dice game too because I don't play another game except for dice and fortunately, my losses are no more than $100. I know that if I use my balance, I cannot save more bitcoin and this is why I only depend on faucet from the gambling site so I can play in anytime. I don't want to get lost anymore especially for using my balance but I can accept my loss if I play the game using the coin from the faucet ;D

I can't say how much I lost in a day. But for this year alone I would say its around 1 BTC already, playing online and on traditional casino. Damn its a lot of money, if I just invested in onto something, a well I have no regrets though.

Here in Asia, a lot of people bet big with sports, and always they end up losing, usually after making a lot of money on the low leagues. What the problem here is all the bookies (because betting is illegal) also eventually find their way into the teams to bribe players to play badly, or even as far as referees to make bad calls. Cricket is one of the main culprits especially because a lot of money is gambled even on the lower games. The worst is you don't place cash with the bookie, you just make a loan from them to bet. Then the loans lose, and the bookies loan even more until they have so much debt and interest - then this is when they come to collect. Ruins so many lives.

If we add up all of our losses during gambling, of course the number will look great. Let's just say that is the cost we have to spend to get an experience and pleasure. No need to regret it!

Worst ones are those who bet tons of BTC from their vaults and lose them just as they are grains of sand...

The same is with me. I also gamble just dice games because I have no gambling experience and other games like card games need much experience and newbie cannot win those types of games. My big loss was approximately equal to $150 converting to dollars. I never gambled after that because I knew that continue gambling will ruin my life.

This is what one should be avoiding in order to save and invest smartly. Had you being played with cash or you local currency you would still have made money from crypto when the btc rise and give you a phenomenal return.  Better you understand now and improved on it.

gamble long-term but if they lose they remain calm? because they allocate the amount to gamble according to they can afford to lose

Me? I only gamble at first. I don't actually continue playing gambling because I believe that it is not thr best part or way to earn profit. But I definitely have an experience of loosing some. In my gambling days, I able to lose for about 0.5 just because of dice game. I didn't able to manage it well and just take my greedy attitude and then lost my profits.

I am not a full time gambler yet I experienced to lose some of my earnings just because of gambling. As far as I remember I lose for about half 1 btc just because of continuously playing gambling and didn't hesitate to use my earnings. I able to get back some of it yet the lose money is actually bigger than earnings. And the I realized that gambling must be a past time and not a full time.

Hoping to win is a problem already when you know that we are talking about gambling. We all know that there are a lot of people hoping to win a huge amount of money in it but  we all know that is so hard to be accomplished. Instead of putting your money at risk in gambling, why don't people consider investing instead? Same risk, same things you will be using atleast you know that what you are spending your money is something you want to earn and that project too wants to earn.

Just last night alone I lost around .03BTC playing slots and roulette. That sucks as I have been trying to avoid playing but I have a friend who just arrived from the States and they wanted to try our local casinos.
 
They even lost around .05BTC as well so its really a bad night for us. Well it didn't even good for us so probably we won't be going anytime soon. And I'm sure that they won't forgot their experienced either. Lol.

I always bet small amount which is in my range and which I can afford. I never put big money in a bet because I know that it is very risky and the winning chances are few. I will lose my money. I lost several times I don’t remember that, but I also won several times. I never kept records of winning and losing money because it is not my regular business.

I am not interested to spend much money on gambling but sometimes when I do it goes in the wrong way for me,I almost lost $1000 in sport betting at one single bet which I think the highest lost I faced in single bet but after that I always limit myself for smaller bet limits.

What ? I guess if you had found something better to do with that 1bitcoin, I can bet you could have been able to find a better stream of income by now.

I am not against someone who wants to gamble, but to me, I feel there are just some certain amount that is always a lot huge for me to hear that someone lost in their gambling spree when I know of a lot of things such an amount can do or even leaving in your wallet can be like in the long run.

Not judging anyone though, and sure maybe for someone who have more than enough, may not find it as something when losing such amount, but generally, it is still a whole lot. I only play lottery and I can say all in all, since I have been playing, I have never gone past 500sats, and at least, I know that I do basically other tangible things to get more money in the long run.

I would say the amount we lose at the end of the day depends on how careless we let our state of mind take control of situations when it comes to gambling and that usually is something that is never favorable.

Personally, my highest law so far when it comes to gambling, is 0.0052bitcoin which I still always beat myself for ever gambling to allow such an amount to depart from me ;D when I could have used it for something better, but of course, sometimes we always want to satisfy our urge, but at the same time, know that most of the time, and at the end, the chances of losing is still high anyway.

Wow. By just reading some comments here makes me envy at those players who have the luxury to lost 1 BTC all-in-all. I could only afford to lose $20 playing online, LMAO. I guess I already get tired of losing more bitcoins that's why I wanted to control myself. And now I just played for fun so no harm in any way.

I learn to limit myself and not chase my loses anymore. Gambling is no fun if you are losing big, just saying. So I do hope that others can take control of themselves before it ruin you, just saying.

That amount is nothing to sneeze at but I know gamblers that have lost millions.  The gambling industry generates billions in profits each year so that 10k is a drop in the bucket.  I recently watched a youtube video about the biggest gambling losses and the amounts some of these whales lose like it's nothing makes me feel like a complete beginner.

I prefer to focus on my biggest wins instead of my biggest losses :)

I know right lol, i can't imagine if i lose 1 bitcoin on casino or in 1 bet but every person is different, maybe 1 bitcoin is small for him, but 1 btc for other people is big.

$10,000 in losses is a lot of money, mate. With that much money lost, it'll be hard for your friend to get back into gambling. It's important to be aware of the risks inherent within gambling before deciding to place a hefty sum of money into them. Because, due to lack of proper knowledge, you could risk losing it all and become bankrupt almost instantly.

In my case, the highest lost I've ever made as a gambler was $500 worth of Bitcoin, when playing a dice game within Crypto-Games. I've thought that I was going to actually multiply my money following the Martingale Strategy on YouTube, but it resulted in a complete loss of my money. Perhaps, it was because I didn't follow the steps correctly, or I was out of luck. However, I've learned that gambling is a very risky business and it should only be played with spare money to stay safe. I could've lost more money in the process as I was extremely addicted to gambling, but with self-control I was able to manage myself playing these games.

Nonetheless, it's quite disappointing to see such high losses in gambling, as it makes many people think that such field is more negative than positive at all. But with self-control, this could be avoided, IMO. :)

1 btc is really huge amount for majority of the people here, may be small for that person who can afford to lose out. But ideally investing in crypto will yield a better returns in next 1-2 years if given the present market price. So keep investing .

I don't have much money to sped for the gambling but still I do gambling with small bets on online gambling sites whenever I had time maybe it is not huge amount I lost so far which is about 0.02BTC at dice site but what to do,it just happened so need to accept that gambling will be a place to spend our money.

Playing gambling online, especially in Crypto, I don't think needed a lot of money to get started, I have many friends who gamble the results of the faucet available there, with patience and consistency in playing, you still have the opportunity to get good profits there. With a loss of 0.02 BTC I think you are still not very active in gambling, with you playing in small amounts and still being able to control emotions well, then I think you will be fine and will not become a gambling addict. Continue like that so you won't regret it later when you lose big in gambling.

Actually I never much money for gamling purpose because I am actually addicted wih my pets where I have been spending lot of money still now. :)

We need to use the gambling for entertainment only then we can stay from gambling addiction is is one og the dangerous habit to be addicted where we need lot of money to compensiate our addiction feelings.

I think, the idea that to focus on biggest wins could cause big losses. You could lose more while you'r trying to reach big amounts.

I never gambled online because I don’t believe it. it is totally loss of time and money. I didn’t see anybody that made money in online gambling. Everyone is losing. There is something wrong in online gambling. I think all the games are fixed and they will never let you win the game. Anyway I lost about $435 in a bet long time ago and that was my big lost.

Many people losing their money but I still believe that there are one or more people that can win from gambling games, but they don't tell anyone for this. They still hiding in somewhere and still playing without anyone knows. But yes, we can lose more money in the gambling game, and other people can lose more than one bitcoin in one night. This is the reason for us to make limitations of using the money so we can prevent to get a loss. Fortunately, I don't lose too much money like other people, and I still hope that I can manage my emotions in the gambling game.

I don't think too much about it, I don't care how much I lose. If there is still money I will play again, if I run out I will go home. Maybe I am already addicted to gambling.

I fell what you fell buddy because I have lost also my fund in gambling since when I was a newbie in a world of crypto. At that time I was trying to gamble because some of my friends told me that he won on gambling a huge amount, then I also try to gamble but unluckily I have lost all my fund and yes we are on the site. Primedice also my first gambling site, but now I didn't want to gamble anymore.

Gambling isn't just losing everything and come to think if there are losers then there would definitely some winners but only a few number or ratio compared to losers which is a normal stuff on gambling.

I am not regular gambler therefore I do not bet big money in gambling. I lose just $70 dollars in a bet which was the highest bet I ever made. I do not gamble online therefore I do not use my cryptos in gambling. I always gamble in my locality. There are no casinos in my locality. Some friends bet each other mostly on cricket matches. Bet and also enjoy the game.

I think that losing cryptocurrency in gambling means not only losing money but also losing a source of income. Cryptocurrency is a business and you can make good profit if the price rises, therefore I think that one should gamble only in his local money. I also lost many times but I don’t remember how much I lost because I never assumed gambling as making or losing money. I always gamble for fun and enjoyment.

I remember the time when I got addicted unto gambling unfortunately. Its not crypto gambling site but a gambling in our place. If I remember correctly, I lost around $20 at that time (that is when I am at a young age). If you are young and living in 3rd world country, $20 is a huge amount already and since I'm don't have money enough to use for gambling so I can only give to them $20.

the highest lost that i've made as a gambler is 50$ , actually for me it's a big amount already so that was the biggest amount i lose in gambling and that time i was so frustrated but as days passed by i still go back to gamble.

But for a typical gambler thats a chicken coz i have a friend that can spend $1000-5000 in casino for just one night of playing.

I say this because i am not a gambler though i know gambling and have learn many kind of games,but not practicing all of them.i only play cards sometimes with friends or roulette when i want to unwind

There was a local game when i am at grade school that i have loss my 1 month allowance for that game,things that become my reason to quit gambling or my parents will let me stop studying because of this issue

Everyone has a different budget for gambling and as you said 50$ is big for you then only thing which I could recommend you is that going forward do not gamble or else only for fun when you have excess amount play with it and do not try to recover the lost amount as it could be the biggest mistake you could make it.

I know your pain, I used to be penniless and I know how painful it can be to lose even $20 when it's your food money for the next 2 days. Years ago there was a giveaway done by PrimeDice. I don't remember the exact amount but it was something close to that $20. I was happy to get it and decided to play and maybe win some more. I of course lost it all within 10 minutes. As a gambler I lost many times rather I can say that I lost every time. I do not remember how much in one game I lost but I can say that till date I lost more than $20000. This is very big money in my country. It is due to gambling addiction but now I don’t have enough money to gamble nonstop. I still gamble but mostly upto $30 and not more than that.

I am not rich (so I was betting small) but I once won $3,000 on a slot machine doing 3$ spins!! It was $1 drafts/free taco night at the casino where I live. I walked up to a slot machine that showed a $3,000 jackpot sat down and told a relative to go get us both a beer handed him $2  and said by the time you get back I will have hit this jackpot. Roughly 5 min later he came walking up with the 2 beers, while the attendent is standing there getting my info( the screen flashing jackpot). I turned to him handed him 2 more dollars and said go get us 2 more!!!! Lol it was a great night. I ended up hitting an $800 bonus later that night!

My highest lose was about $300 long time ago. That was a big money for me. I earned approximately $150 in that time. It means that I lost my two months’ salary in gambling. But I now I am happy because that was my last gambling and I never gambled again, because I realized that gambling will destroy me and I will never make any money in gambling rather lose every time.

$50 is very small amount for a regular gambler. i lost more than $50 several times, but I also won more than $1000 at a time. If I compare my loses and wins I guess that I have won more money. So I can say that till date I lost nothing, but if you asking onetime loss, then I would like to say that the maximum price I lost was about $900. But I don’t care because I also won many times.

Losing hard earned money is so frustrating. In general 50$ is not a big amount for regular gamblers. As you consider it as big amount, my advise is to stay away from gambling. You can lose more than that in a matter of time.

Yeah it is right that cryptocurrency is a source of making money. If you trade in crypto or hold your coins for some time, you can make good money. It is much better than losing coins in gambling. If you want to gamble you can visit a regular casino and spend some time there with your best friends but never think that you can earn money from gambling.

Most of the new gamblers end up losing cause they dont know what type of strategies to use in early bets.

$50 is not a big amount if that person can use $100 for playing gambling. But still, everybody doesn't want to lose the money even for the small amount in the gambling. They will realize that they are spending too much money on gambling, but then, they are losing more money than they can think. So if you still want to play gambling, then you need to limit the amount, for example, you only use $25 for playing gambling, and if you lose all of $25, then you need to get away from gambling.

I Think if there’s a chance that a person plays for a small amount and have it multiplied a million times like, in a lottery, a lot of people would bet on it hoping that they could win. It doesn't matter if they have a small chance of winning it but the fact that there is a possibility of winning it is enough for them to bet. If you wouldn't risk anything, you won't be able to gain anything. We all need to fail to learn the right things.

I am not a regular gambler but seldom gambled with my friends. I remember that I lost about 3500 of my local currency which is about $30 dollar in today’s price. In that time this was big money for me. I was very upset but I think that if try to get back my money from gambling I might lose more money. It is better to quit gambling and never come back.

Most of the time, I just gamble and accumulate the money I win from gambling games then I somehow seem to lose them all in a long streak but in all I think I have lost the equivalent of $100 in a single gambling game.

Used to know a guy in the UK who owned a few horses. He gave me good tips for a few years, he’d put his good horses in Grade 3 races & they’d win. They were always shotty odds, mostly evens. I’d put a couple of grand on & win my stake back plus a couple of grand.

I won loads but occasionally lost so I’d lose a grand or two sometimes. Overall I was up from his tips though.

I always bought lottery tickets two times a month and I don’t remember how many times I bought this ticket, but I have never won a lottery. From the beginning till date I always lost my money. I don’t remember how much money till date I lost because I never kept records. One day I will win big lottery and will recover all my lost money and that will be my last day.

You made some good decision when that amount means a lot to you. Playing to recover money is a bad idea and should never do that. You should play for entertainment and in case won you should be happy and move away rather than getting more greedy.

Don't you think it's the same false belief that people have in their cryptocurrency gains? They go in, have a gain of 200%, and then a bear market starts and they have a loss of 300%, but they're still holding on to their coins at a loss believing that times will change and they will eventually get even. A year goes by, market changes, they get even and sell at once with a very small gain being happy that they got something out of it and again regret it later when the market forms a new high.
