Title: Bitmex Bots
Post by: sectrgt_ard on August 20, 2018, 02:18:16 AM
I haven't really seen many bots available that support bitmex. I have tried mixtoco.in and it seems like a new underdeveloped project that doesn't really work. Anyone have any info on bots available for bitmex? preferably ones that have proven profits before?

Thank you all.

Until now I don't have any info about it yet, but I think it's good to do it in getting a big profit, if we can be careful and see the gap.

I don't have any experience with trading bots, but are you not charged a fee for using a bot or maybe pay a once off fee? Is it then really worth it?

its an app and they have a licence to use, not actually a fee

A one time payment depends on the trading bots

some offer a per exchange license with perpetual updates

I do not advise you to contact robots only if it is not a robot made by you personally. A third-party producer can leave backdoors, and errors that lead to a loss of funds.

Not yet, I am considering one

checking, which is which and also seeking same question as if it does work

one thing to note, seems the bots must have a knowledgeable trader owner or operator

you will be the one to seek effective pairs and strategies or indicators the bot would use

I've been using Bitcoin Masons for a few days now and its been pretty accurate for a while now, profitability varying with how much leverage you use.
Of course I can't make money yet because the free group only has delayed signals.
I think I might bite the bullet soon and pay for the premium group with live signals.
Here's the link for the free channel if you wanna check it out: https://t.me/bitmexmasons

I just feel if theres some huge profit bitmex bot its gonna be more profitable to keep that close to the chest and keep everyone else out, and it probably wouldn't even be worth selling it even at a huge profit margin.  The bot activity is certainy there but I haven't seen much about people running any successfully  that I know of.

I dont think use bot in trading promise good profit, cause in my experience in forex trading by use bot, the risk is the same with manual trading, and the bots can not work perpect. We can still make good money in trading without use bot by understanding price action, learn about  risk management, price pattern and others technical analysis will bring us to be expert trader.

Why you guys need to use a bot? Don't you think it's inefficient to do trading and the risk of using it especially in bitmex. Are you on leverage trading?

Technically, this trading bots aren't for beginners since you still need to know the parameters that should be use otherwise it could lead to destabilize your profit thus it won't guarantee a passive income. Don't easily rely on this, a lot of scam and software malfunction pop in the market.

The only thing that makes bots different is that they tend to execute your strategy when it comes where to buy, where to sell and where to be stopping loss without any form of emotions, but the thing is that bots inability to think sometimes, can actually be at your detriment most especially when market tends to extremely volatile.

Anyone who wants to trade should stop looking for shortcuts and should learn first, so at least to have some basic knowledge before even making any attempt to trading or even trying to use bot if there is any need at all. As long as you know what you are doing, and you have a great knowledge on trading and the market, you will always be better when it comes to making decisions.

Plan to use it not on margin trading

Probably for ordinary trades, doing its job while you were sleeping

there are must do on these bots, and definitely not for trading beginners

it usually align with indicators, so a newb might not get what are those

most often, bots are designed for small amounts, because large amounts in them are risky to keep, because they are relevant for a long time

Bitmex absolutely has bots going and quite a bit... I think all the best ones won't even be for sale and are completely private because its just not worth giving something up that consistently works on margin no matter what price someones willing to pay.  Expect to pay a LOT for something thats going to give you an edge, especially on Bitfinex and BitMex.

Way good advice. For beginners this is not the best way to be familiar with the price action for technicals and also to be more familiar with the pace of the market. Though some of the folks out there don't have the patience and want to automate things would really have to test all possible ones before considering using for big funds.

Well, I don't think that it's the best option to share your Bitmex API key with strangers bots. If you are looking for a way to profit - just research for good signals provider and you are good to go. you can use this article by smartoptions to support your research.
They are reviewing & updating the results of each group every month.
There you go:

Haasonline (https://www.haasonline.com/) is pretty reputable around these parts, and the site claims that the bot supports Bitmex, though licenses for the trading bot are only for 12 months, and pricing currently starts around 0.073BTC for the beginner setup. More pricing details are available here (https://www.haasonline.com/pricing/). The basic license is sufficient for most IMO, and you don't pay any extra for the bot to trade on more exchanges, as even the basic bot supports all exchanges the bot is capable of.

I don't think these bots are useful for bigginers , Using bot in lavarage mode is riskey , they just work based on technical analysis they have no idea about fundamental news and its their biggest weakness i guess so I still belive human mind can act and learn better than bots.

I like this bot called BitBotBackToTheFuture. It is new but reasonably simple to use.  He only has ANN in Portuguese at the moment and is still in testing. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4907520.msg44203479#msg44203479) I've been testing him and I'm enjoying it.
