Title: How many kh/s will Radeon 9550 released in 2003 or 4 do?
Post by: gpucoolingmethod on February 28, 2014, 07:53:58 PM
I have no idea what to do with this hardware. It is old but it is very good and it works excellenty as it should. It can play 480p video sometimes even 720p without lags.It even can have 40+ internet tabs open functioning without problems. For office work or internet it is good enough. You dont anything more powerful to just do that.

But because it is perfectly usable and it wll be just doing nothing I wan to know how much kh/s I can get just for the fun of it.

So how many kh/s?Or what else would you do with it?

I can guarantee it will be slower than 5770 and that cards 200 KH/s. 5000 series AMD /ATI cards to the present is best for mining. Do not waist you time with that card.

It can't mine coins because it does not have the architecture.

Ive just found that AMD renamed its 7770 to R7 250 and its selling it as another product.

Update Ive found that all Rx are rebranded except R9 290 series.(I guess thats why these arent on hashrate lists online)

Am I correct to expect exact same hashrates as from the original not renamed versions?
