According to this article Bitcoin might hit $60,000 mid 2019. Do you think this will take place?

I myself agree with you that bitcoin will continue to rise in the years to mid 2019, because it is seen from the current market movements that bitcoin has slowly risen even though it is not comparable to the previous year, hopefully your article will not miss because this is what all crypto users are waiting for this is where the price of bitcoin rises again so that we will all get a lot of profits.

This is a big target, and I think it's hard to achieve that. Many people have set the goals that Bitcoin can accomplish in 2018 but the time of 2018 is almost over, but nothing good has happened. The market is still falling and rising, and falling again. The target set initially did not achieve anything.

Well I do believe that bitcoin can hit $60k in 2019 and I am very positive that it will happen because bitcoin will always doing well in cryptocurrency.And that's interesting and excited to see that soon.

I think that analyzing Bitcoin as a stock is wrong, because Bitcoin depends on the trust of investors themselves to it. In the event of any changes in the worse or better, its value will change accordingly.

Well I am not sure about that. Making 60k will be 10x increase from where we are right now. What I am confident of is that in average it will be at least 2x from now. Bitcoin value can only increase in the long term, fluctuating, but increasing.

Bitcoins have plummeted since reaching a peak of $ 20,000 by the end of 2017, and since then they are still in a correction phase. I think it will take a long time or have some very good news to help the market recover strongly again. That $ 60,000 or so is absolutely possible.

This will be possible owning to the high techs that are joining the Crypto. Bigger projects are entering this space. If all these fights against the movement of Crypto is quashed, bitcoin will easily coast to the moon.

How on earth will that be possible considering the bearish market we have facing for over 5 months now, 2019 is almost here, its just less than 5 months, i doubt whether that forecast is going to happen.

Already bitcoin is struggling to cross the range of 10,000 dollars and it seems much difficult for bitcoin to even reach its ATH price of 20,000.The only hope remaining is bitcoin ETF and if it gets approved,then we could see some bullish run in bitcoin price.

with the way things are going and also judging from the contributions and the degree of the adoption of the blockchain technology and the global financial solution bitcoin is offering, it will not be out of lace to say that bitcoin can even exceed the speculated amount by 2019

I'm bullish on cryptocurrencies in general, not only on bitcoin. In my opinion 60k in 2019 is an absolute minimum but as always only time will tell. No one will ever predict what will happen.

the link you have posted is from those websites that are posting low quality content, mostly click-baits and i keep seeing random low rank accounts advertise their links so i wouldn't really waste my time reading what it has to say specially since OP didn't bother posting more than just the link!

in any  case the guesswork like this is never a good thing no matter how much you hide it under fake reasoning. $60k in mid 2019 is not that far off but we don't know how many nonsense situations like ETF for example we are going to see until then. each of which can postpone the rise by a long time.

each forecast will not be proven and accurate for sure. especially if we look at and compare for now, in fact the current market is more of a pattern of decline. I believe and conclude similar things that will happen in early 2019, but I can't target bitcoin will grow to 60k.

Dont expect too much because you might disappointed when your expectation will not happen. We know bitcoin is great, volatile, but that does not mean that it will reach $60k in just a year. Lets just hope that bitcoin will be still great in the comming years, for us to earn more profit to support our needs, wants and even saved for our future.

On account of 2019 you can only guess. I personally think that most likely yes, there will be growth. To say something specifically no one can. In theory, it can cost more than 60 thousand dollars ... and maybe bitcoin and does at all this year.
So 60 thousand is just guessing on the coffee grounds and nothing more.

Oh that's a hell of a prediction. Well last year 2017, nobody could hsve3ever predicted that bitcoin going to reach $18k+ and we all saw it happened before the last year. Undoubtedly I don't think bitcoin could ever reach that prize soon and also on the second hand i could also support it as to what happened last year.

Certainly price could increase by year 2019 but we don't know yet what price can achieve then. When good news happen price affecting to increase. So nothing is impossible a lot of changes could occur in bitcoin.

$10k is nothing, bitcoin was just back at 10k a few months ago.  Bitcoin is much higher than it was one year ago and it reached 20k by the end of the year.  It's very likely it will happen again and bitcoin will reach a new all time high.

My prediction for EOY 2019 is around the $50k range, the price will start to move up rapidly in anticipation of the next btc halving.

I disagree that bitcoin will hit 60k in 2019, it's because of its current situation right now. Look at it, it is on the dumped. And I believe that it cannot get 60k in 2019. It doesn't have future for itself because of that.

So that's 1 year to go. Expected x10, which is a crazy return. However, bitcoin is really volatile, today we have the highest short positions ever, previous time we raised from about 6k$ to 10k$, then until $60k we need x6. I guess that is pretty real, but only in case if smart money will come into the game.
Blockchain.info recently said that every day 50k new wallets are opened daily, why Bitcoin is not raising though. Also, the hashrate is raising, and the price should follow the hashrate soon.

That is still too far to think about and the price will depends on how much is the price that bitcoin will reach by the end of December. These predictions' purpose is to manipulate investors to buy more and expect a higher rewards. We aren't still close to adoption that is will guarantee the $100k which we really needed.

I hope in the current situation it is impossible to reach $60k because still, bitcoin is struggling at the price of $6000. But I can see in the market that there is huge support at the $6000, might it will take another 3 to 4 years to reach $60k.

Im not sure about exact date, but this is possible. But why in July? I think big bullrun will be in March next year. And a little less in this year.

$60K is one of those very high limits of bitcoin and quite on the edge. We are talking about nearly 18 million bitcoins in the market total and if you make it $60k than it equals to roughly one trillion dollar worth of market just for bitcoin. Is it impossible ? No it is not however is it probable? Not easily.

I mean one trillion just for bitcoin can happen but its quite at the edge of responsibility, I do not see bitcoin having like 10 trillion market cap in total anytime soon, maybe not ever and one trillion is like max it should be. All those $250k or whatever estimates of people are insanely not calculated guesses. We need more infrastructures to be built on bitcoins either to use bitcoins as payments or as assets. Like, bitcoin etf approvals and few more market giants are accepting bitcoins as mode of payments, will make these speculations easier to get realistic.

Lol. Why didn't you consider 2018? We're not sure if 2019 would be the same as 2017 or this year? For all we know, this bear market may well carry over to next year. 60k is a tough target to hit even if everything goes our way.

I think you can predict as you wish, or like the link you shared. but every prediction cannot be accurately accumulated, especially we will never know what will happen in the future, so the most important point is you have to try to analyze it yourself to be able to ascertain any developments or decreases that will occur.
