There are so many hodlers, long-term investors and other people who made nothing but only to wait the market grows. How stupid this people are!!!

They do not know the people that trade in bitcoin daily just only maximized the risk and the small amount of profit they have...Just to make the market green... And so this long-term hodler, seeing the market green, sold a sum of bitcoin saying " we need to maximize our loss" LOL you are not helping the market grow, you are so selfish. We need to help the market grow not just on the prospect of profit but rather expansion and growth of the market. We talk not about today, we talk about the future and what lies ahead.

This may give much debate to everyone but let us be set - we need bitcoin for the future and we need it grow starting TODAY...

Indeed, we need to make the market move and make it grow. Bitcoin is the future and it should not be used to lust of profit, we must used this for better economic prospect. Dark web used this coin to buy illegal goods but who knows that what is illegal today may be legal tomorrow. We need bitcoin for the future.

Seeing the market red is really discouraging since I hodl bitcoin too. I now realize that it is better to learn short-term trading in order to develop and make the market green. The more people are active in the market the largest its capitalization and the greatest the probability that it will be green...

One of the common reason for the market to be slow is the people that provides information to other people and make it being informed as the negating information. The fact that it will not be the market itself that may suffer; caused everyone that made the false info as basis not to invest.  I think that this is solely based on the decision of the HODLer, yes I know and confirm that they are not much of a help to the market, but we can't fully put the blame on them, they do have the freedom and right to do whatever they want with their currencies and you have to respect it, yes it may be bad for the market, but I think we do not have the privilege to call them idiots or people who are just lazy, and that we all do know that there will be circumstances that the BTC market will go slow, or will go fast, it is unstable and will probably be unstable for a long period of time.

I agree the market is its slowest move. The price is quite freezing and the bitcoin is nailed to $6300... So as to speak the market is its weakest and it should not be happened again. Very slow indeed. I think there is no progress in bitcoin as of now. Its really creating the fuss around the community and cant blame the widespread of FUD's due to this current situations. You are not different with the people you are calling stupid. Holders are making the supply in the ecosystem lower and that makes the demand higher if you are familiar with law of supply and demand. I don't want a debate but take a look at the market today.

in any market there are long term investors (aka holders) and short term traders that you are calling stupid! their existence is a part and parcel of any market and it is not creating more or less volatility if one group is bigger than another.
the main issue with bitcoin market is that the market is basically a bunch of exchanges which are not fully trusted by any of the traders. this means the market will remain small. bitcoin itself is small too so we end up with a thin order book and higher volatility.

So you are blaming the hoarders for the slow markets? Just imagine if all of them dumped their coins onto the market now and think of the implications of that. You need a specific amount of people to hoard their coins, because their coins will flood the supply side and if you have more supply than demand, then the price will go down.

I think we all are aware with one of the most important characteristic and feature of bitcoin that is its volatile nature. For the market to grow it needs a fresh injection of cash to pump the markets. As many of us have already bought and lost a huge amount it is difficult to get further funding to acquire more bitcoin or other crypto currencies.

The slowness in the price of bitcoin could be partly attributed to none availability fundamentals unlike last year when we had many bitcoin FORKs and many news around that usually triggers increase in the price of bitcoin more so the "whales" had also done more harm to the price than good this year round thus pushing the price further down.

i agree that the market is going sideways since the last week of september upto now and i also think that this week a very critical stage the deciding phase wether the bitcoin go up to 10% above or below 10% down, we will see what gonna happen next in just a matter of days from now on..

I suggest not to panic during these days as it will not bring us any good.There should nothing else to do but to hold patiently and still wait for the price to bounce back again.This may be boring i guess but we will only be  a loser if we go on panic selling.

Wrong, we have been in this trend as far as June if I'm not mistaken. We will trade sideways and then a break out run for about $500-$1k and then back to its previous price. Most of the time a 2 weeks worth of hard work to make the market move will be wipe out in matter of minutes or day. It's the sad part but hey we should look at the bright side and I say we should accumulate and not sell and wait for the perfect time to offload.

I guess the market still moves although it's not so fast. Many people still expecting to make a profit from bitcoin while they are waiting for the price to increase higher too. But since the last September, the moves of bitcoin is not too high or too low but it still up and down. Bitcoin will grow in the future, and I am sure about this, we are only waiting for the right moment to lift the price so it will begin to increase higher. Well there is no issue on the market bevause crypto market is normaly go up and down due to the unstable volume of investors on the feild. Not only slow but the Bitcoin and the Crypto market are average dropping which is opposite to the predictions by most famous experts that a bullrun will start on September or in 4th Quarter of this year. You have said it right but for me the best thing to do to earn big is to hodl your coin if you do not hodl your coins then the price will not change and pump and you cannot earn a big profit. It still depend on some factors that affect the crypto market. Cryptocurrency prices have many drivers or boosters like supply and demand, market developments and some big time investors that like to play the market. Many investors are still looking for some positive news before buying cryptocurrencies again. The factors that drives them on buying binge are still not there so their level of confidence are still low. This is one of the reasons why the growth of the market is still slow.

Margin trading and these Bitfinex shorters are the ones wrecking the market and we just can't get out of this bear cycle, it seems endless to me and really annoying. It is like all crypto and BTC holders are currently getting penalized for backing Crypto and believing in this technology. One minute we get a little hope that the market will improve and become bullish, then bam! They short BTC and the whole market comes tumbling down and am so fed up with this bearish cycle, it feels unending right now and hot helping me or other small fish at all.

I think the bitcoin trade business is over. After the huge jump to $20.000 and the huge lose to $7.000 the price stayed between $6.000 and $7.000 and stayed stable. So i believe that there would be no big price change for the bitcoin. So hodl or trade would not mean anthing to me now. The bitcoin has the %53 market dominance yes but its price will be stable.

Patience is the key to better understanding the market and the movement of capital within it. Just patience will always warn you against mistakes at first and you will not go bankrupt in 2 days.

Anyway, slow market is the result of the emerging regulations of cryptocurrency where some investors or contributors had not accepted it for some reasons. Aside from that the ETF last august was also being disapprove by the US congress so investors are selling their crypto holdings. Then came out some bad news on cryptocurrency where the hijack was happening. So it made worst on the slowing market for cryptocurrency. Aside from that there are also huge investors who were trading in cryptocurrency pulling market price downwards. 

 None of us can really affect the price of Bitcoin. And I don’t see much sense in it. We can earn on Bitcoin, only because of its volatility, so that we need just to constantly sell and buy it. It doesn't happen that the price is constantly growing, we are not in a fairy tale where everyone can get what they want.
In addition, even if you (or others) sell your Bitcoins or not, its value will be calculated in another way.
