Title: Prices as Transmission/Communication of Information Post by: JDBound on October 21, 2011, 07:08:44 PM Can anyone point me to where the above proposition originated, or in the alternative point me to someone (an economist) who does a good job at articulating it.
Edit: Right now I'm attributing the original idea to Menger (1871), and using some von Mises http://mises.org/books/Theory_Money_Credit/Part1_Ch2.aspx also ;). If anyone else gives good insight into this concept please post here! |
