Title: Feedback abuse, asking for Admin action
Post by: BitcoinSupremo on August 20, 2018, 06:55:49 PM
This member here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=740675 has posted spam feedback in my wall and in many other members of the forum here. My paypal trades are way below now and people don't see them right away. To some other members this person which is a DEFINITIVE SCAMMER (just look at their posts) have left dozen of spam feedback that you need minutes to scroll down and see the actual feedback.

Wouldn't it be great if we put a limit of 1 feedback left to a person only and not an unlimited feedback which leads no doubtly to big spam being created and a whole mess in forum profiles. I think even DT members would agree with this as I see their trust wall with a lot of abusive not real feedback, retaliatory feedback (yes I make a few laughs when I see what people write out of frustration) but this is getting boring now.

See Trust spam report + suggestion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3039025.0) for this case.

I see he is already on the list since March 2018. Probably it is about time that his feedbacks are removed, he only posts from self moderated threads and locked ones in the only attempt to scam people.

So change the thread title to something like: "Feedback abuse, asking for Admin action" and see if you get their attention.

While I agree that this joker should have his spam feedbacks removed, I would argue that sometimes it's appropriate to leave more than one feedback for a person, but usually those feedbacks are left with some sort of gap in between--multiple trades, and the like.  I wouldn't want to have it limited to just one, or even have any limit at all.  It's pretty obvious when someone is spamming your trust, like this guy is.

Hell, in an ideal world a mod would ban his stupid ass for selling accounts and spamming negative trust.  Unfortunately that probably won't happen.  Sometimes you just have to trust that a person will look past all of those garbage feedbacks to see the ones that are relevant to doing bitcoin deals.

Maybe there should be a limit to 1 feedback per person without reference link. I personally hate feedback without a reference link, in most cases I ignore it.

This should be seen as spam in the same sense as posting spam throughout the forum. Never really thought about this as most people aren't so juvenile. The bonus here is sadly most people don't look at untrusted feedback.

Theymos will not remove spam trust.

One guy left me 52 identical negative feedbacks.  (Search for ecorox)
