Title: How Many FPGA Boards are needed to mine?
Post by: Scryptik on August 21, 2018, 11:09:10 AM
I observed a chat on Discord where the folks were saying you had to have at least 3 FPGA cards to mine anything.

Can anyone clarify if this is true, and if so, explain with a bit of detail please?

Thanks!

If we are talking about BCU1525 only x16r would require 2xFPGA the rest will work with one

yes, depende in the algorithm you are trying to mine. For most 1 card is enough, so others 2 or more cards are needed.
