So I converted My BTC to USDT, Now how I can convert USDT to real USD cash?

USDT is an altcoin. One directions is to find an exchange that has USDT/US dollar pair, like Bittrex. Another direction is to change back to Bitcoin and find any exchange or service (card, ATM, .. name it) that can convert Bitcoin for US dollar.

Beware, in most of the cases you want to receive fiat currency (US dollar) you will have to verify yourself (at least ID) and in some countries withdrawn amounts over a certain limits can trigger curious eyes, questions or even bank account lock, so you may have to research more.

I know that this may sound scary. If you do your research, you'll be fine.

I never had any experience of using USDT to exchange for something like FIAT. I only use USDT for keeping purposes only like when all cryptos is going down then I used to convert it into USDT.

You don't have to convert BTC to USDT whenever you need US dollars. You can convert BTC to USD directly. In order to to that, you can use exchanges like coinbase or cex.io. Both of them enable converting crypto to USD or other fiat currencies. The verification is mandatory, because you are kind of entering the banking system and this means you have to prove your identity.

It depends on the availability in your place or on the exchange that converts usdt to usd..im not so familiar exchanging usdt to usd..usdt is only used by me to park my funds so that my funds  will not be affected on red days..in my case,i converted usdt again into btc when I need fiat money because the local exchange in my place only converts from btc to fiat..

The easiest way probably would be to verify at https://tether.to/ (https://tether.to/).
Unfortunately the verification process takes some times. But afterwards you will be able to easily buy/sell USDT for USD.

Another option would be to buy BTC with your USDT and use an exchange which has BTC/USD traiding pairs (e.g. kraken or bittrex).
This, IMO, is the most convenient way to sell cryptos for fiat. Even without using tether.

Apparently, USDT is not an altcoin. It is only a representation of USD in some exchanges such as hitbtc and many more. The only thing you can do about it is you can save your money out of the use of it. To sell it, make it bitcoin and have wallet to get your btc. Then btc to fiat money exchange.

you can change directly to usd not usdt, just change your btc to usd and withdraw, but some country still prohibit crypto, that why it will hard to convert it.
also in my country crypto still ilegal, but not prohibit.

Go to Bittrex and swap yours USDT into USD, then you can withdraw via bank accounts. Or you can sell yours usdt on some 3rd-party exchange like Remitano, they support to buy/sell USDT into real money.

the easy and best possible way is to convert USDT  back to bitcoin or ETH and sell it.you can use cex or other bitcoin accepted sites.easy cash in 5 min.

In your country there is no website dedicated to buying and selling cryptocurrency? If so then it is really inconvenient because it is difficult for you to get USD. Most in every country have at least 1 website to convert

Remitano, a peer to peer exchange similar to localbitcoin is supporting USDT. You may want to check whether your country is supported and whether the rate is favourable.

You do not have to exchange to USDT (otherwise known as tether)


Send your BTC back to a FIAT exchange that you probably used initially, (an exchange that has a BTC/USD pairing, like COINBASE/BITSTAMP/KRAKEN/BITFINEX plus many others).


Sell your BTC direct to USD and withdraw if required.

You can find the many exchange which listed the USDT also on their website. Do you can find that kind of site to make the money with the USDT directly it is not possible so far. You may see the exchange where you find the USDT to the conversation for BTC or ETH.

Mostly none of the coins apart from BTC and ETH to give the way to convert the coins to cash directly. Hope may see it soon.

Just like any other digital currency, you can transfer USDT from one wallet to another, from one floor to another using a wallet address, and the transaction takes place automatically and quickly at almost cost. It is zero (there is only fee due to the floor), not controlled by banks, much more convenient than USD.
If you use USD, you will have to worry about loading and withdrawing money, transfer money from one floor to another ... because it will be completely dominated by banks and financial institutions, very transaction fees. The USDT is almost completely overcome.

Have you tried to check the other altcoin like XRP and BCH? There are many exchange sites right now where you can convert it directly to USD and withdraw into cash. Some of the coins are listed on the top 10 at coinmarketcap unlike before that only BTC and ETH are mostly accepted in some exchanges that you can withdraw directly into the bank.

I have literally never seen anyone reporting a successful redemption of USDT via Tether.to. I'm not sure what the situation is now, but Tether themselves were pointing people towards the Kraken USD/USDT market at one point rather than themselves.

I'm not totally sure what the score is with Bitfinex these days. Some say they make no differentation between USD and USDT so you may be able to withdraw to a bank account from there. I'd stick to BTC/USD elsewhere myself.

I know that USDT is an altcoin that's why it won't be so difficult to sell it. You should do this when having such a possibility, for example, when being able to find a person who is ready to buy it

there are exchanges which offers usdt to usd exchange.  just transfer your usdt to one of these excganges and sell them to usd.  usually it's 1:1 ratio, but during outrageous market condition the price can swing up or down.

usdt are created by binance so traders can easily convert their crypto to usd-pegged coin usually without kyc.

You can convert btc to usd directly why convert it to usdt?  There are lot of exchanger's which offers btc to usd exchange . But try to find it on other exchanger try to get news on there channel, ask questions Or try to ask someone personaly who is willing to buy your usdt :) Iv'e hope i just fix your problem mate ::)

At this point I think you should not hold USDT and should increase the amount of TUSDT, you can see that USDT is currently experiencing severe inflation when it is continually being printed out and released to the market, thing This will soon cause the price of USDT unstable and will continue to fall sharply in the coming time. You did wrong. You should not have changed Bitcoin to USDT. I don't know, maybe USDT can convert to USD. But you could convert Bitcoin to USD in Cex.io or Coinbase. If you can't find a way, you should convert it back to BTC and convert it to USD.

Yes you are right, you should not changed your bitcoins into usd because you will not earn more profit in this way since fiat is not growing its value while bitcoins can skyrocket depending on the situation in the market.

yes you can look for Omni Wallet which provides service for storing USDT on online platform and offline platform such as wallet.

There are many exchanges where USDT is listed., trade on those exchange.  If there are offer off the exchange market, you can take them as well  if there is an agreement on escrow and other safety measure!

I liked a lot the statement from the USTD that there is no guarantee that you will get back your USD or whatever else that you will exchange to Tether, lol. I'm not going into it yet.

You need to use bots for easy solution. 3commas is an example. This bots accepted by almost all top exchange sites. Connect your exchanges account using 3commas. You can‘t. Even Kraken only offers a trading pair USDT/USD. So as long as there are enough USDT buying orders, you can sell your USDT. If there are now buying orders you will have to trust Tether that they have enough USD or cryptos to give you USD.

Any cryptocurrency can only be exchanged for fiat if the fiat based exchange accepts the cryptocurrency you have unless you want to convert it to the one they have from the USDT and go convert to fiat. Sure, there are some exchanges like Kraken, and even bittrex recently allowing direct conversion to USD as the case may be, but for someone that may want to be using other local exchanges, just very few people will give you equivalent of USDT in fiat.

What does bot have to do with selling your USDT to USD for heaven sake? You necessarily do not have to use bot to end up achieving that. Just use an exchange that accepts conversion to fiat and that will only be possible if they have USDT listed; otherwise, you may just have to change to the listed coin first. This is totally different from someone who is trying to trade using a bot as they are certainly not even in the same lane at all.

Moving USDT between exchanges is costly, you don't really find to USDT/USD pair, just move to a coin that has usd pair, and sell it for usd.

No USDT is an altcoin you can't send it directly to your bank you need to have a pairing of USD or other local fiat trading and that specific exchange should have an option to cash out to banks and other option to get physical fiat, KYC is necessary to avail that option, you should first look for your own local exchange for easy and convenient transactions.

USDT is NOT dollar. It is another crypto based coin, it is literally the USD Token. Yes it is usually tied to dollar value and if you want to sell bitcoin to usdt you sell it with dollar valuation but that is just the digital version of it and does not represent dollar at all in real life.

When you want to buy something and it costs 100 dollars, you can't spend 100 USDT and buy it, it has even less usage in real life than any other coin out there. Most coins can be used in at least one place whereas USDT only good for trading. So if you have usdt and you want to sell it, the best way to do so is on an exchange and you can get it out.

if you want to sell USDT I think it's very easy, and you can look for exchanges that have the use you need in the trade, and I think that's a good way.

you can---bitfinex redeems USDT for USD. unless things have changed very recently, when you deposit USDT to your account, they credit you with USD. you can wire the USD out from there. supposedly tether.to also resumed withdrawals late last year after they stopped servicing USA customers, but i can't confirm.

otherwise yes, there's the USDT/USD market on kraken. apparently, bittrex now has a USDT/USD market too, but it seems like it's limited to some customers in the USA, and you need to apply to trade it with a verified account.

You should do that the same way you sold your Bitcoin and got USD. If you can find anyone that will buy the USDT or. You can find an exchanger and convert from USDT to Bitcoin. After that you can withdraw or maybe if you have a wallet that uses debit card just like Xapo, you can move it to that wallet and withdraw all from the ATM, but best will be to move it direct to your bank account.

If you want to sell USDT you should go to Remitano web site, where this is a place to buy a lot of coins to cash in, so study carefully before selling to lose money.

That guy didn’t say he was moving it direct to his bank account or did he? 😏He said he was going to exchange it with Binance for a Bitcoin. We already know it’s an altcoin and that there is no way it can be moved to a bank account and the only way is to exchange it for a BTC before withdrawing it to your bank as a USD.
