Title: Issue resolved Post by: Shawn_Alter on August 22, 2018, 10:01:12 AM Yesterday I got this message, I wasn't sure what actually happened before going through this thread //https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.660//
Sorry SHAWN-MIDWAYS, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. Can a MOD please check if those 2 accounts edited their post with my content in their main and quoted post. Account 1: Ini35 Account 2: Indai24 Page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4698064.msg43951859#msg43951859 I believe what this member and Jr member did is Edited their post and copy-pasting my content in it and reporting it, Since the main post and quoted post were made on 12th Aug it made it easy for them to show that i copied their content and thus an easy nuke. Title: Re: NEW METHOD FOR FORCING A BAN ON SOMEBODY! Post by: mainconcept on August 22, 2018, 10:35:53 AM So you mean some accounts tricked you by editing their posts, so you get a ban for plagiarism?
I'm not sure about that. I found a cached version from the thread with timestamp 12 Aug 2018 23:16:33 GMT: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:aLmjE7PzYxoJ:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Ftopic%3D4698064.320+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk (archive from the cached version: http://archive.is/64HH9) It seems that the cached version of the content and the current version are the same. If posts are edited more than 10 minutes after creation, they get a dotted line under the post date. This leaves no room for error: #16 User: Copy: The market is yet to recover, because prices are certainly not yet stable. Considering what is presently happening, i think some people are still skeptical about the bitcoin ETF, which i believe will not any anyway come to pass in this year. There might not even be anything on that whatsoever. Nonetheless, the market will surely recover any time soon, because this is not just the expectation of many, but that the circumstances surrounding the present time have revealed it. http://archive.is/hEw8e Original: The market is yet to recover, because prices are certainly not yet stable. I'm very curious why you did this, just 2 days after you gave me 5 Merit for this post: Yes, I partly admit my guilt. I admit only partly, because the percentage of plagiarism in these my 3 posts is minimal, and even in Universities during the writing of scientific works now allowed the presence of plagiarism at the level of 30-45%. I don't know which universities you're talking about, but any self respecting university has zero tolerance for plagiarism.Quote Yes, I was stupid that I did not care to put a link to the source, but this is my isolated cases and I am not a malicious copy-paster. As far as I know, only Admins can lift bans. And that's very unlikely to happen.I ask you to remove my ban or limit it to any period. Title: Re: NEW METHOD FOR FORCING A BAN ON SOMEBODY! Post by: Shawn_Alter on August 22, 2018, 10:54:02 AM I really don't recall doing this, I can only assume I misquoted his initial post. I'll appeal this with Theymos.
