Title: New sha256 altcoins?
Post by: tyz on March 01, 2014, 11:06:48 AM
The most of new altcoins are based on scrypt. Do someone know new coins - not older than 2 weeks - which base on sha256 algorithm?

Good idea for a thread, BTC difficulty is already too high for first generation ASIC hardware to mine profitably.  :)

check out mediterranean coin if you want something new and refreshing. It's not 2 weeks old but the difficulty is still low and the max block reward doesnt start for another 10k blocks.
