I would not invest in a PayPal ICO just as I would not invest in a Telegram ICO, these companies have already reached their maximun growth, so they are not really that good.

I think he's not referring to a Paypal ICO, but an ICO accepting Paypal as a means of payment, implying they accept fiat apart from cryptocurrencies.

Paypal has a function of making a dispute on transaction and trading crypto for cash is illegal with Paypal's policy section 3 H.
So, whoever you may be and whatever you may sell, you will never win a dispute saying you sold them crypto.
This is the reason why there are zero ICOs with Paypal as a payment processor.

I’m not sure that is going to happen
PayPal does not joke around with its api and securities and it’s not gonna be so vulnerable t fund icos

The most possible options I see is buying bitcoin with PayPal
It is a lot feasible and easy to achieve too

Any ICO accepting Paypal is plain scam. Paypal is known to freeze funds of crypto projects. In most cases the Paypal account is just a personal account and not even business account as it requires more validation and details of the owner.

This is also what I understand, the dispute can easily turned the funds back to the senders and nobody wants to  ruin their business if the ico is really aiming to be usable after finishing the sale period, just like the explained above me real project will not offer anything that will harmed the progress of their work just because of some dispute, it's safer to allowed btc or eth or some other good coins inside the market.

first of all that is idiotic to accept Paypal payments because of the charge back option of it. and that only proves that these ICOs are getting desperate for raising funds since nobody is giving them anymore, that they are taking these risks for the possibility of a smaller amount of higher profit.

secondly it is against PayPal ToS to use it for anything that is related to digital currencies. you can read it in their Terms of Services. and they can close the accounts of both receiver and sender if they find out which they most probably will if the ICO raises a considerable amount through Paypal to raise red flags.

I'm not sure how they can manage all the chargeback later on they get from people.

What I know is Paypal is not supporting any cryptos exchange so better don't invest in these projects. I will not waste my time and money on checking and investing on these projects. It is better to avoid and move until PayPal officially announce that they will support crypto transactions.

We have to know first the advantage and disadvantage of these characteristics in dealing some works like this, we don't want that these it can affect in some performance for the future..
