Title: [OpenSource | Github] Cryptocurrency ponzi script
Post by: WFT2 on March 01, 2014, 06:42:11 PM
Hello,
I want to share with you my custom ponzi script, with it you can create ponzis for almost every existing cryptocurrency.

Here it is:
https://github.com/Crypton33/CryptoPonzi
Everything works fine, just download & run.

Feel free to contribute and report bugs. If you like it - donate.

Have fun :-)

EDIT:
If you have linux VPS or dedicated server I can setup this script for you :-) 0.1 BTC for installation. If you're interested just send me the PM.

To add transactions.sql, do you have do install phpmyadmin?

Title: Re: [OpenSource | Github] Cryptocurrency ponzi script
Post by: Dr.Bob on March 24, 2014, 01:27:17 PM
phpmyadmin ist just a gui for mysql ;)
Like Wallet-QT is a Gui for wallet daemon.

mysql commandline > google ^^

# Create database
sudo mysql -p -e "create database dbname"

# Import structure
sudo mysql -p mpos < sqlfile.sql

kind regards , Dr.Bob

Download your cryptocoin daemon, setup JSON RPC values in your config and add:
txindex = 1
Run your daemon with -reindex and -server arguments
Generate your address and private key using vanitygen
Fill in the config.php file
Run setup.php script to add your address to the daemon
Add transactions.sql schema to your database
Run script.php script from CLI, it should be running in background
Install php5-json for the transactions to display properly
???
Profit!

I'm no understand step 1 - 3 , can you help me ?

That's estimated  , pretty sure there will be more .  :o
And yes you got a point. we can really learn a lot of stuff . It's said tho most of the Bitcoin Projects are in PHP & NodeJS for web and C/C++ , Python , Java for the others platforms . I expect to see more projects on C# and ASP.NET since Microsoft is going to add more features to them also make it open source .. so yeah . At least this is what i hope

Are you sure this is bug free?  I spotted one quite easily.

Quote from: script.php:26-13
Code:
		if ($vinvout == 1)
$vinvout = 0;
else
$vinvout = 1;

$address = $transactionin['vout'][!$vinvout]['scriptPubKey']['addresses'][0];

$vinout should be used directly, it can and should be > 1.  What's the point in not doing $vinvout = !$vinvout;

Another note, the address might not be available you should us ['scriptPubKey']['hex'] and translate that into addresses during display.  This can be used to send coin directly.

Thank you for your development, this product is pretty great.  We just got one of these up and running at http://quickponzi.com, and it's absolutely great to work with.

One thing I'd add in the future is blockchain.info support so that people don't have to set up the whole Bitcoind program.

blockchain.info has proven to be unreliable and the one thing these scripts need is reliability.

This project has been open sourced because this kinda project has no real value anymore. Almost anyone with the slightest grey matter has understood that this type of ponzi games represented by weeklyponzi.com, nextponzi.com are going to scam today or tomorrow. It is just a matter of time because operator makes more money by cheating. That is why interest is dying for these type of games. You have also understood the same with quickponzi.com.

But, the investment based games section has also seen the rise of a new type of game represented by www.CrazyPonzi.com. This is where operator run it honestly for his own sake. The game logic is such that operator will make more money as commission than he could by stealing the bankroll. They have raised 20+ BTC within a few days of time, which clearly represent people's genuine interest in the game. But, unfortunately this type of code are not freely available in the market.

I disagree, we intend to operate fully legally.  We are not planning on running away with anyone's money, and are happier doing things this way.  We also have a long-term pyramid at http://cryptopyramid.com/?ref=2 that you may want to consider visiting.  Our great design allows for a long-term investment game that will last for a prolonged time without expiring or going under.

After running our ponzi for about a month (http://quickponzi.com), we just want to thank the developers of this amazing software!  It is absolutely phenomenal what we've been able to do, and are already looking at starting up a similar system (but that uses other altcoins, check out the discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1084024).

you should not recommend yourself to setup a ponzi script, some of the people made the ponzi and then got themselves doxed; ponzi has been a dangerous operation even if you are anonymous, don't just think you will be, when pigs fly, to be accused for ponzi scam.

anyway, this is acceptable if it is just for fun.

i was thinking in something lice cloud Minning or something like thet but without the scam part, you know??

maybe for the users is a Minning site but is not, but not with the running part...

or maybe you can be trustfuly with the users and they know that your using they coins for another bussines and your gave them the coins as an invest...

i dont know...

your comment is realy good because in here every body is happy flagging to the others, so im in dangerous lol

have a nice day

Download your cryptocoin daemon, setup JSON RPC values in your config and add:
txindex = 1
Run your daemon with -reindex and -server arguments

any help ?:)

txindex = 1 is literaly a config found in your bitcoin.conf (by default it's not added and you have to add it)

Quote
By default, Bitcoin Core builds a database containing only the transactions related to the user’s wallet. If you want to be able to access any transaction with commands like gettransaction, you need to configure Bitcoin Core to build a complete transaction index, which can be achieved with the txindex option. Set txindex=1 in the Bitcoin Core configuration file (usually found in your home directory under .bitcoin/bitcoin.conf). Once you change this parameter, you need to restart bitcoind and wait for it to rebuild the index.

When you add txindex = 1, automatically the next time that you open Bitcoin Core (or the daemon client that you're using) it will ask for a reindex wich will take a lot of time but you will be able to use txindex.
