I want to buy 10K USDT  when price for each USDT is 0.98$ but all echange sell it for 1.05$ at cheapest, I dont want to pay 0.07$ more than normal price,
Where I can buy cheap USDT? I want to buy when market is red but still hard find a good seller.
Also TETHER.TO registration now is closed.

According to coinmarketcap, only three exchange site accepts USD/USDT.

Check it here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tether/#markets and click the pair and choose USD you can see all list of exchange where you can buy USDT directly. You can try to use Kraken if you can't buy on bittrex.

What I see today on the USDT movement price it seems pretty stable at $1 USD price. So, I think if you really want to buy USDT at a lower price you must buy other altcoin or bitcoin first and wait for the bitcoin/altcoin price increase before you exchange it to USDT or you can buy other altcoins that you can exchange to USDT because if you buy altcoin you can exchange on other exchange sites with lower (USDT) exchange rate.

Theter price is not quite correlated with bear/bull market because its price is made to be stable and those few cents are just error in supply and demand and is alwais offset by tether and arbitrage bots. 1.05$ is 5% commission for exchange in most cases and its not that much while converting from fiat co crypto. You can try to buy BTC on bitfinex/coinbase/kraken for USD and than USDT on any exhange for that btc. LTC would be even better for that because transfer through exchanges is close to 50 times more expensive for BTC(even 5-10$) and 500 times for USDT (even 50$).

Yea. Withdrawing fee for USDT is very often close to 50-100$. So while choising exchange its more important than those 1.05 instead of 0.97.

Usually when crypto on bull run many trader sell USDT to get others crypto and that times can be the price of USDT cheaper than now. I think price of USDT is the same rate in all exchanges,  just the same thing like price of all crypto in all exchanges. Actually USDT has high transaction fee,  and now there are others stable coin that better,  that is DAI and TUSD.

Traders dont sell USDT to get other crypto. They are just simply exchanging with themselve (one guy get usdt other guy get alt/btc) It dasnt affect USDT/USD but USDT/COINS price. USDT/USD price can only be different by huge demand on usdt to enter crypto that is not fulfilled by THETER or huge supply from traders willing to exit to fiat.

tether is backed/pegged to fiat currency, 1 USDT = 1 USD
so the price would be pretty much stable in USDT/USD pair market
is there any specific reason you need to buy USDT directly?
why not buy BTC with fiat first then convert to USDT?

I think if you would like to buy usdt then you must put down the pending order as your desired price and for that, you should choose the exchange sites whose allow usd to usdt trading. There are some exchange sites who allow this like Kraken, Bittrex, Bitfinex.

Perhaps you should try Bitcoin or others. Instead of getting expensive USDT, you can try BTC. Bitcoin is valid in all exchanges and you can also find it cheaper than the price you are looking for.

I think you can not buy usd cheap at all because the world knows the price of us dollar anywhere you ask because you will see it on exchangers and websites.

USDT IS AN cryptocurrency as it was backed by us dollars. you will able to buy usdt @ 0.98$ when bitcoin market is green and users will sell off their coin to buy bitcoin or there altcoin.

you can get price 0.99$ but its very hard luck you get price 0.98$ and selling at 1.07$ is rare it mainly happens when market is red and people are transferring their funds from other altcoin to USDT

Wait, what? How can you do that when the price of USDT remains the same as the value of dollar? Are you serious with this one?

This just says all. And just want to make this thread alive for the sense that we musta just look it up in CMC and maximize its use. Most of the things that you need in trading or exchanging are there. And if you are wise as well to do arbitrage you can as well do it by just looking in their real time data.

Look at the technology we developed thanks to bitcoin and other coins. This topic is about buying usdt a tether token that is just the representation of dollar in the exchange markets instead of using the real dollar, for the real fiat currency we all know as dollar. Dude is literally trying to buy dollars with dollars.

As far as I know that is fairly not available and you should try to buy bitcoin with it and exchange it to tether if you really want to go that route which will of course have some percentage of losses because of the commissions but you can just wait it out for a bull quick run and get a better deal than you hope from bitcoin to usdt.

Don't buy USDT (they print their coin faster than FED=). Just use your fiat money to purchase crypto.

Now, unfortunately, you can not exchange USD for USDT absolutely without losses. I do not think that you will lose much from such a difference in price, since in any case on the crypto currency this amount can be easily restored.

simply send your USD to Bitfinex and you will automatically receive 1:1 USDT

if you are interested in buying USDT I suggest buying at binance.com because the price I feel is quite competitive and normally the same. but binance gives you a lot of convenience and security.

here is a way to buy cheaper USDT.
Listen carefully:
1-go to any international exchange with your USD , deposit your money.
2-watch local exchanges that accepts USDT and intrnational account or find a friend from there
3-wait for the diagonal arbitrage opportunity, lilke xrp is going down but local exchange doesnt reacts fast
4-carry your USD with buying a coin like xrp then immediately sell there
5- your money converted there to local fiat but a higer value ratio for USD
6-go buy USDT with your local fiat

as a result you are going to buy USDT with a chance of %1-2 lower price according to your USD balance.

First, buy something highly traded (ETH, BTC, whatever) and transfer onto an exchange that offers cross-token operations with USDT (for example, Cryptagio.com (https://cryptagio.com)).
Trade the tokens against USDT, and then do the reverted operation to withdraw more fiat than invested.

Yes, this works if you simply buy cheap @ sell expensive any commodity, but trading tokens against a USD-tethered token multiplies your earnings by a few times, as token prices fluctuate over a fluctuating commodity (ETH in most cases).
