If you used myetherwallet.com it only requires you to access through your wallet with few options like entering your private key, json file and your hardware wallet. Yes, I agree with you because this are the only keys that are required of you to access myetherwallet and you do not necessarily need OPT. Maybe you should reconsider the wallet you are using

May be exposed to malware Did you signed up to any form that is asking for your private key or anythning that's related to accessing your wallet. but what is taken only by certain tokens is it not suspicious in your opinion? If you did, maybe the hacker used those login details to access your wallet. However, I have no idea with ImToken I haven't used it until now. Title: Re: Does ETH wallet require OTP? Use wallets such as Myetherwallet or even better, hardware wallets such as Trezor and Ledger. Private keys are much much safer than just OTP. The only thing is that you have to keep them safe and have at least 1 backup.

Might i ask the type of your ETH wallet: MEW, Leger, Metamask.... As my knowledge, only the ETH wallet in the exchange require the OPT code to access the wallet
