Title: Verify ETH contract posted through proxy
Post by: JanEmil on August 25, 2018, 06:11:37 AM
I follow a token.

They have problems getting approved on exchanges because they can't varify the contract on https://etherscan.io
That's because originally they posted it through a proxy.

Any workarounds?

Can you at least mention the name of the token that you follow? Otherwise it is quite difficult to understand why it is not being shown in etherscan. But, it is must for any token to be verified first through etherscan in order to get approved in any of the exchanges that lists ether contract.

Which token is that? I don't think there is a workaround for that unless they stop using the proxy and get their own address. Tokens that use proxy are suspicious and thus don't get accpeted or listed on the exchanges easily.

Can you check on this work-around?

If this didn't help then you have to contact etherscan directly to get your issues resolved ASAP.
