Please help me. I'm a miner since 2011. I just wait for the value of one bitcoin in USD will surpass $5000 at mtgox.
But this plan totally went wrong. All of my bitcoins "goxed", more than 1000!
I am not proud of this. It was 100% of my btcs. 3 years of mining was gone. I want to kill myself.
I'm out of cryptos forever.
I selling my mtgox account, if mtgox will be online again, i don't care.
If you have an offer, please pm me with it. If you don't trust me, i give you a screenshot in pm, what I did in february, when I can't withdraw my btcs yet.
If you buy it, i give you my passwords for mtgox and my email address too. If you change the password and mtgox will be online a lot of btcs will be yours. But I don't think it will happen.
I'm a new member I know it. I visited bitcointalk just a few times, when I needed some informations. But now I need help in here. So don't give negative feedback just because I'm a new member.
This topic is self-moderated, I don't want to see trolls in this thread, I am rather angry already.

I do understand your feeling I got why you don't want to have anything connected to crypto currency! Actually, I think that's cool idea to make a auction and sell your Mtgox account!

Very sorry to hear that. Just I wonder if you are a veteran minor and hoped btc price to be up like all of us, why have you moved mined coins to the exchange, which has not yet been far below $5,000. Only the exchange surpass $5,000 is bitkonan perhaps by a mistake order as far as I realized. I could understand if you are a market timer, that could be understandable though.

I trusted mtgox... It was the oldest with higher prices then every other markets. Life is unfair. :'(

oldest with higher prices... that should have told you something right there... when 1 exchange is 100 - 200$ higher then the rest, that just means fishy.. But i do feel your pain brotha!

If you don't know who he is then that is another warning sign.  Why not just post something that looks like proof and people can pm you for more details.  You have a good idea here trying to sell your account, but you have executed it all wrong.  
You've got to post a heck of a lot more details to get people's interest.  

Ok I re-read your first post again and the only line that sounds fair is the last line where you say you are angry already.  I suggest editing that post and posting the screen shot you talk about with the important info blurred out.  That would be a step in the right direction.  Also simply sending someone your passwords doesn't guarantee them ownership in anyway.  You could simply log in yourself if it ever comes back and empty the account yourself. 

Can anyone think of a way to guarantee this kind of sale?

If someone buy my acc i will send him my mtgox reg. Gmail with password. Before this, i will change my recovery email to what he want. If he change the password for the gmail no one can use the account except him...

I know... 1% mtgox coming back. But if you buy my acc now and mtgox will be online later your deal makes 30000%+ profit.
My problem is I need money now not maybe years later...

second what make you think you will get the deal with a newbie account + less post counts + you trust ratings are something you won't ever get a penny from anyone.Anyways your story is true i feel sorry about it then and accept the fact that mox is gone forever even if they come back and rebrand they won't be paying anything back !!! 

I thought the same thing, given that Gox is down and so the buyer can't even log into the account to verify your claim (yes I know you said you'd provide a screen shot) they seem to be taking a big risk.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sorry if you lost coins, maybe you will recover something in the reorg?

Thinking about this a little more, I think your best bet would be an a face to face deal so you and the buyer could exchange more personal information.  That way the buyer would be able to secure at least some guarantee.

I do not have a real understanding of these things, but if they file for bankrupcy wouldn't they still have to pay their debts as far as possible. Or did they empty the bank first like common thieves. Luckily I didn't have a such great amount there (I read about a guy claiming he had 45k bc's there), but I must admit I also felt safe storing the bc's there. Im not so profecient in such things and it seemed safer than try to move them to a USB or whatever.

Also, I wonder, if anyone has some idea/speculation as to what this will do to bitcoin. Is it the beginning of the end? If the price drops after this would it be wise to invest and assume it will recover?

There is no way to verify this account is legit or even yours.

Unless you have insider information with MTGOX to confirm this....your offer is bullshit as it has no hope for any type of return as MTGOX IS BANKRUPT!

He should ask MtGox for some official letter with veryfication of his account :) maybe it would help

There are companies that buy bankruptcy claims. (http://www.pioneerfundingllc.com/) They may not pay much, but they usually pay fast. Here's an article by a law firm (http://bankruptcy.cooley.com/2006/08/articles/business-bankruptcy-issues/selling-a-bankruptcy-claim-opportunity-and-risk/) on the subject. The funds that finance the buying are called "vulture funds".

Anyway beter to do not buy any mtgox accounts :P
