Title: Meaning of Bitcoin Charts / Markets colors?
Post by: SteveS on October 24, 2011, 01:13:17 AM
When looking at Bitcoin Charts / Markets (http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/), I see a variety of record colors and font attributes. Green for markets rising, red for falling and so on. Is there a writeup somewhere that explains what all the combinations of colors and shades of colors and font attributes mean? I found some posts here about the colors in the volume bars of the charts, but not about the colors used in the Markets display.

Thanks!

Easy!
Red=down
Green=up
Both compared to the opening price!

The shade of reds/greens depends on how recent the last trade took place! The brighter the color, the more recent the last trade.
Black means cold, not frequently used, or closed down.

And blue shows the latest price is the same as the previous close. Now I see... Thank you!
