Isn't there a way to report this (dot) to site to google? I've seen google delisting well established sites due to copyright (DMCA) infringements. Phishing is much worse than that. How come Google keeps tolerating these scammers in their index? The most likely scenario is that he was lead to one of these phishing sites and entered his login and password. I don't know if you're likely to lose your private keys that way, but you certainly can lose your Bitcointalk.org account to hackers.

I always avoid searching directly from Google, and I have bookmarked important urls. This may be a safe way to prevent your account from being hacked. No.But if you are rooted, you can use something like dns66 (https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66) to block it with the hosts file. |
