Title: Identified a niche- where to start. Suggestions please
Post by: Retty on August 28, 2018, 09:51:14 AM
Hello everyone, i'm not too sure if this is the right place for this, so if there is a better place for this post to be hosted then firstly i apologise and secondly feel free to move to the relevant board.

Ok, so i have an idea at the minute that i think is definitely relevant in crypto and will almost certainly be needed in the future aswell as right now. I'm not wanting to talk about the idea for obvious reasons but i can say i have done my due diligence and i genuinely think i've spotted a niche in the market that i think is needed.

I'm asking you kindly for your opinions (or experience if you have any) on how you would go about starting from an idea to turning it into a reality and what steps to take initially?

I appreciate any input you may have.

What you've written here is way too vague, so I can only answer with vague/generic ideas.

* you may need to copyright the idea
* you may need to hire a lawyer
* you may need to create (maybe with that lawyer) a non-disclosure agreement everybody you involve in the project should sign
* you may need to find some advisers (that sign the NDA) and discuss with them; basically ask "second opinion" and find out if your idea is indeed good - here a couple of skilled friends or family may do it for free

* if you cannot implement that idea alone you may need to hire a team (which will sign the NDA); start building that project.
* if you cannot advertise your project you may need to hire advertise team (including bounty manager if you go here onto Bitcointalk); you will have to advertise the project. If you don't own the money and want to do something like an ICO you will have to do strong early advertising, else the advertising can wait until the project is in good shape, so the competition don't "steal" parts of your idea.
* you may need somebody to keep track of the expenses

Detailed explanation is being said above specially when you are on initial phase. It all matters on how to start up because methods can be interchangeable depending if you are
financially capable or just purely depending on crowdfund or do only have a small fund to start up.The only thing on my mind if I were on your situation which I have seen
the potential of my own idea then you would do the steps above given and just always put up on your mind that success rate will vary on how you do market your project and most of
all the entire potential of it.

this is a horrible advice, no way ordinary enterpreneuers can afford those services, they neverendingly want to charge more and more,

with that idea you better go to the ripple founders that print money in the american central bank

you just start building it, similar like a beacon dont care about legal stugg its mostly only corrupt to scam new enterpreneuers empowering the establishement.

you should just build and find people thinking similar. and build till you reach fruitiion.

market spots can be quite illusive, if you cant work and stick with it for long you might not have the endurance to be successful despite it being a "market gap"

regards

It's called a business plan. There are plenty of articles covering this then you will be able to make your own. Do not share it, especially with investors financing competing projects, of course, ;D an executive summary can be provided instead of the business plan. Or you can sign an agreement but investors usually don't like this. But you won't need any investor maybe.

Best of luck with your project

One very important point: don't trust anyone. Offering someone to support your idea financially or otherwise, do not immediately disclose all the cards and nuances.

Otherwise, you can culturally deny and take advantage of your idea without you, and not even say "thank you". And if your idea is really brilliant, then patent it before you tell something.

You can move your threads yourself using the link at the lower left.

Let me suggest another solution.   Send your idea to me - I will read it and give you my feedback.  100% Confidential.

I was thinking of starting up a service for this.  Of course, a donation to BPIP would be required.  :)

One very important point: don't trust anyone.

At some point he will need to trust or his idea will just stagnate and someone else will develop a better one.
