Title: Fusion Silicon X6 - 860 Mh/s, 1160 W Litecoin (scrypt) miner
Post by: HagssFIN on August 28, 2018, 04:59:27 PM
Edit (December 28, 2018):
Now known as the Fusion Silicon X6 miner.
Specs are pretty much the same as presented earlier.

Product page: http://www.fusionsilicon.com/#/goodsDetails/X6 (http://www.fusionsilicon.com/#/goodsDetails/X6) (link updated in February 21, 2019)
(dead link) http://www.fusionsilicon.com/#/goodsDetails?productId=6 (http://www.fusionsilicon.com/#/goodsDetails?productId=6)

Hello guys,
The miner manufacturing department is now separated from the parent/mother company BW.com,
and there is a new company called Fusion Silicon.
Cassie Cai, who is the director of international affairs for Fusion Silicon,
said that the new company is not related to the current BW.com company.

Fusion Silicon has a new Litecoin ASIC chip and a new Litecoin miner coming to the market and that is the main reason I started this new thread.

I have been in talks with Cassie about a possibility to do a miner review,
but it is not sure yet if it will be possible.

Cassie mentioned me earlier that they would launch this new miner this month.

Fusion Silicon L61 - 860 Mh/s, 1160 W Litecoin miner
• Hash rate: 860 Mh/s  +-5%
• Power consumption: 1160W  +  10%  (FS power supply unit –1600 Watt AC/DC efficiency  93
• Power efficiency: 1.349J/MH  +  10%  (Wall AC/DC  efficiency 93
• Nominal voltage: 12  ~  13 VDC
• Case dimension: 340mm  (L)  *  130mm  (W)  *  198mm  (H)
• Weight  (Packaging is inclusive):  xx  kg
• Working temperature: 0℃ ~ 40℃
• Working humidity: 5%RH  ~  95% RH
• Network: Ethernet
• Noise:xx  db 25C) 25℃)

• Method to connect power supply unit:3 PCIE connectors in each hash board are required to connect with power supply unit. It is recommended to use independent power supply unit to supply the miner. Under the circumstances of non-independent power supply,3 hash boards can connect to various PSUs respectively with only one PSU for one hash board and ensuring the hash board to be power on.

Cassie sent me this image and a technical specs data sheet.

http://i67.tinypic.com/20swt90.jpg

Here is the technical specs data sheet: https://mega.nz/#!gkNzlCTA!S1HcDRiALXYXTHNi3n3jYDZqRA9N2zpakfosIYv08oc (https://mega.nz/#!gkNzlCTA!S1HcDRiALXYXTHNi3n3jYDZqRA9N2zpakfosIYv08oc)

For any inquiries, I recommend to contact Cassie Cai (cassie.cai@fusionsilicon.com).

So 860 for 1160  is 1.3488 a mh

the L3+  with voltage mod from jstefanop  does.

490 for 700  or 1.4285 a mh

with out mod it does

500 for 800 or 1.600 a mh

So a few things are possible here  a voltage mod  that drops gear to

850 mh  for 1020 watts  or 1.2 watts a mh

or maybe a chip deal for Moonlander 3's

I would be interested in tweaking the new miner  to get more efficient  then

1.3488 watts a mh

Oh yeah.

Just to be clear, for those who don't know: This is kind of a successor for the BW.com BW-L21 Litecoin miner.

But Cassie said thay the design will be completely new and good quality.

I sent Cassie an email quite recently, but I haven't received a reply.

I remember not too long ago these threads were a mile long. Forum teaming with life. Big money pours in buys up the ASICS  then manufacturers start competing with each other.  What your left with is a bunch of bag holders and no one left with any vision. Not that many had any other visions than getting rich quick.  What you will start to see is fake fights within the devs so as to lead people on that it was a good thing they break up.  Stop being played people this is a money grab from the get go.  This system should have never been tied to money before it was ready.  It’s like opening up a business with a product you have yet to make.  Now everyone seems to judge success or not by the value of the coin vs whether or not it will have any real world use.  Traders pumping up price add in a little tech article or two and buyers beware.  Shitstorm a brewing!  There is a reason why regulation came about. Bacuase people just can’t seem to do to others the same as they expect done to them.  So there is always that one/group person that fucks it up so bad that the rest of us has to come in and regulate so as to keep them from doing harm to others.  Free market doesn’t work when you start the game with an advantage.  Again it’s like starting monopoly with billion dollars vs the rest of us plebs that usually start in debt.  Open source decentralized wealth transfer system only works when the playing field is leveled.  How that can ever come about I have no f ing idea. But at least the thought is there.  I know that it is necessary for this to ever succeed without dire unintended consequences.

Yeah it seems almost like I was the first and only one to know this project. Would be nice if someone knows more about this, or have any comments, etc.

BW used to be a big manufacturer, but not many knew about them.
Fusion Silicon needs strong marketing to reach even that level or higher.

Dude  what is happening is very simple big money  is coming in  and buying cheap gear like the s-9,s-9i,s-9j, L3+

they have 3 and 4 cent power and they think they will earn profit

edit  bold : At this website  most people don't have 3 and 4 cent power and are being squeezed out.

^ True, and a good point.

Yeah I get a good deal with the solar array. , but it is  only 14-22 kwatts.

This means I earn less,  but I  will always make money I can only lose if gear breaks.

But 22k-watts =  220th in summer

and 14k=watts = 140th in winter

I get ½  of that.

so 110th is about 889 usd a month

and 70th is about 564 usd a month

far less then  it was in dec or jan

even if I get  7 M10's  it will be 210 th  and 15kwatts winter

or 10 m10's it will be 330th and 22kwatts summer.

it seems that they are out there making miners.

Quite interesting!

I can see Fusion Silicon X1, X6 and X7 miner models at their website.

Has anyone here ever held a FusionSilicon miner in their hands?

Is there any more info about this company?

I talked with Cassie tonight. She told me that the FusionSilicon FSMiner X7 (which mines the X11 algorithm) will be available at the end of March and there will be around 2000 units available.

They only have around 200 of the FusionSilicon FSMiner X1 (which mines the Lyra2rev2 algorithm) available right now.

I'll try to get more info from them.

This appears to be the bank to which a buyer of FusionSilicon miners would send their funds:

Translated by Yandex:

In talking further with a FusionSilicon representative, is was stated to me that this is the company address:

深圳市南山区深圳湾科技生态园10栋B座906B

This translates to:

Select this on the order menu.

Create order and go to check out screen

Click the download sales contract. It will download the PDF.

Not really sure how important this step may be. I would like to order some of these miners, but am nervous!!! Google offers a document translator and it seems like this contract does add at least an illusion of an agreement. It would still need to be honored.

they dont flood the market, price-tag still high..so not a lot of people will buy.

IMO - The only reason the market isn't flooded is because the coin is down in price and mining is not as appealing. There was a figure of 2000 miners being manufactured someone mentioned in a previous post. If that is a true figure someone can do a calculation on difficulty increase if all 2000 are released and turned on. I don't know how to figure that math out.
