• Max Coins: 84 million VernCoins. (VERN)

• Subsidy halves every 840,000 blocks (~4 years)
• Difficulty Re-Target Time:  3.5 days
• Block Rewards: 50 coins per block
• Premine: 0%. We don’t believe in premines; We are more philosophical and open than other coins and contend that premines serve to diminish the value and integrity of a coin. Rather than mining a coin that will have it’s preminers dump on you, mine with us from block one and enjoy equal opportunity!

• 100% of premined* VERNs will be steadily dumped at however many Satoshis people are willing to pay for them so as to destroy the value of the coin you’re mining. (We require BIG amounts of VERN to fund our lavish Floridian hooker/coke addictions)

ABOUT

VernCoin is a new coin, celebrating the turbulent, love/hate relationship we all have with a particular exchange and its founder. Based off VertCoin (VERT), we (VERN) aim to offer a completely transparent, unbiased and fair coin which is more in line with Satoshi’s philosophy than other coins. Come and have some BIG fun with us ;) Like our favorite exchange, support for this coin combines community based vitriol and necessity rooted in a lack of better options.

If you’ve got something solid to contribute, like stolen BTC or ‘lost’ BTC, please get in touch with us.

If a BIG amount of VERN gets lost on an exchange, don’t worry about it - that’s how the world works.

We don’t intend to offer any sort of junk like rigged lotteries or casino games. If we did, you would lose, we would win BIG and take all your VERN. Not fun for you and a dick move on our behalf.

Future dev support: We have a few programmer monkeys on staff and a physicist. Not literally monkeys, but there’s truth to the rest of that. We’re understaffed and waiting to upgrade our Commodore 64 servers. For future reference, if any bugs are found or forks occur, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll reply as soon as we can. In a month. Maybe. Stop. Just go away. Leave us alone. Nothing to see here.

Does this coin have a self audit feature?

Ha! I do believe this coin is pretty intentionally a shameless VERT clone. But who cares. N-factor is the future for altcoins. It's good to see. Most shitcoin devs can't even manage to hack up anything except LTC.

But LOL, this is a BIG deal. VERN makes up for VERT's lack of personality (like LTC!).

What is your value proposition to make this coin acceptable as payment method and make it popular to own? Why would anyone want to buy your coin and what can they do with it that they cannot do with coin x already (replace x with any other new coin)? If you don't have a proper value proposition and plan, this coin will go the same as coin x (replace x with any other new coin) where it gets mined, and as soon as it hits an exchange the early miners/devs dump and everyone just hopes that they are not the one with the hot potato (to be read as bag of worthless coins) when the music stops.

The only positive point I can give you is that you do not have an IPO.
