I am interested in speaking at this conference. I have been through Dubai several times in the past year and believe my topic would go over well there.

I am interested in speaking there too, i am a very motivational speaker, if its possible then let me know..

I have a friend who works in banking sector in Dubai, he works for a major Government bank, he confirmed to me that The Central Bank of UAE (DUBAI) has declared Bitcoin as not a legal currency or commodity and anyone setting up a Bitcoin based business in Dubai will face severe punishment. This wasn't in the news because it's not an important topic for the government there, however they received official notice. He and his business partner wanted to setup a bitcoin business but was rejected by the Central Bank and The government licensing authority.

Doing things like Bitcoin without proper licensing in Dubai will result in severe consequences and jail time, you need to be very careful. I'll see if i can get him to comment on this forum more about this.
