Thursday, August 30: the second day of the week, crypto markets are seeing wide corrections today, with the ten currencies per market capitalization losing between 1.5 and 5 percent on the day.

This is really bad news and this will have a negative impact on the market. The recent drop in the price of bitcoin as well as much crypto currency is the victim of these corrections. This will not last long and after a few time bitcoin will be able to adjust the price and to be normal like before.

This is something to be worried about. we need to find the reason that why we are losing this much amount of BTC and what we can do make the investors stop.

This correction has a negative impact on the bitcoin as well as the market of crypto currency. This will affect bitcoin reputation negatively as most people will not understand this reason and many can think bitcoin wrong. Bitcoin will do something to make the price normal again.

Right now bitcoin has crossed $7,000 and eyeing for $7,400. If it breaks that mark then I guess we’ll have a minor bull run. The SEC hearing is very close and investors are excited for it. The recovery of alts is also a great news. Maybe we’ll see the correction period getting over now and eye for a bitcoin bull run.

Bitcoin has been doing great and I guess it’ll keep going up from now on. We are almost at the end of 2018 and many experts have predicted that bitcoin will have a bull run at the end of the year. Besides, the altcoins are also gradually recovering which is also a good sign.

and now it's $7200! just look at Dogecoin, someone somewhere said that when Dogecoin starts going up it means a bullrun is close. 1,5-5% on one day isn't much considering it can go up just as much in a day, what is the value of a thread like this?

At the time of writing this, bitcoin is standing at around $7,100. I’ve seen it going below $7,000 but I think it’ll keep going up to near $8,000 now. The SEC hearing is drawing near and I also heard about some Korean exchange that was impacting the price of bitcoin.

I think it's temporary. This is only a small drop before the big growth in the spring of 2019. IMHO

Who is loosing BTC? Are you giving it to someone or someone stole your asset? Price is falling but your BTC amount remains the same. At least it should.

This is not bad news if you look at it from a different perspective. There is stilla chance to acquire more of coins during these price drops, these prices won't be here forever.

I don't think we should worry. This is the usual consolidation of prices after rising from $ 6500 to$7300.

It was never bitcoins fault that it's price is falling or going up. It's the mindsets and the overall atmosphere around the whole topic. People tend to blame everything bad on Bitcoin and seem not too understand how markets work.

It seems to me that bitcoin from all currencies has suffered smaller potyri.Hotya to them you have to be ready. All new probietsya with difficulties

Ups and downs is the basic characteristics of any monerty market . crypto market is not spared from that too. It have to face ups and down too and more over now it’s one of the biggests markets. In previous 2-3 years the market was in a downstate froms its present place. And now the state is upbringing.

Yes it was but as we are talking it is the past, on that day crypto market faced little crush . But it wasent anything major. It is very common In the crypto market. Actually not in only crypto market in the other maket too basically in the monetry markets.

actually not much about the "crypto market" is considered normal specially when you are talking about the whole market including the altcoins in the mix and compare it with other markets. and the reason is all the manipulations and the altcoin pump and dumps that keep happening.

I will say it was just a glitch. Not only seeing a certain day take a look at the whole week the statistics is rising always thaat small down site is not noticeable. If we see the marketcap of first trending 30 coins every coin is going up after the glitch of 30 august.

have you actually checked the prices? if not go do it now. there was a small price drop in bitcoin (about 1%) and then that started a bigger dump in altcoins which went as big as 10% for some of them.
and it is now just bitcoin which is going up and most altcoins have had another 1-2% drops today.

Today we're holding on $7.300 level and it looks like the price is slowly going up and up. These are slow but steady gains. Buying at 6.300 was a good decision.

This is the very familiar nature of crypto market. So, nothing to worry. Hope to see the market boom once again very shortly.

It only means that altcoin investors are are stimulating bitcoin market now that's why altcoins are dropping slowly. Bitcoin is now about $7300 threshold and in the coming days we might see it crossed $7500 if new money started to pour in or investors are reluctant and skepticism started to disappear.

Its only worth mentioning that the OP has started this thread several days ago, so a lot has happen and just when we don't that this can be another bull trap, bitcoin market is slowly turning into green zone or bullish trend.
