Title: why comments left on my thread got deleted ?
Post by: IQB Official on August 31, 2018, 08:12:34 AM
some of the project fans said their comments got deleted and their account got banned for 7 days after left a comment on our thread,  but their comments were not "non-related" or anything, what could the reason be, and how can i contact any moderator to help?

Ask them if they violated some rules, Bitcointalk moderators will not ban them for no reasons.

You should ask this question on the Meta board, or on Announcement.

The beginners board is not the place for discussions about the underworld here.

Probably your fans are just bots writing"good project"?

Those comments are deleted because they are unsubstantial and are used to bump threads.

If that's the case, They your "fans" to avoid doing so, because your thread may get deleted if there is any incentive to post this kind of comment there.

You mean the typical spam like most altcoin threads have? Your thread got ignored for months, and all of a sudden loads of Newbies spam like this:

These fuckers aren't "fans".  They're either bots, alt accounts, or slimeballs just trying to boost their post count for whatever reason.  Let's face it, this is just another fairly worthless project and there's no logical reason why it should have supporters flooding the thread with nonsense "great project" posts.  They are obviously just doing that to bump the thread in the laziest manner possible.  If they were actually supporters, they'd be asking questions or saying something more substantial.

I would also point out that these puppets ought to know that these kinds of posts are not allowed here.  Too bad for them they got banned, but bitcointalk is a harsh teacher.
