I can only say that it looks promising not only for ETH but for the entire crypto space. CFTC currently reviewing the ETH futures reminded me of SEC reviewing the bitcoin ETF. The drawback to this seems to be the high centralization of ETH token holders:

The quoted article hints that the next step after releasing ETH futures is working on ETH exchange traded fund. I don't care much about ETH but again, it may be good for ETH holders and the entire space.

Indeed, this news can positively affect the growth of the price of Etherium, but do not forget about the history of Bitcoin futures, which first sent the price to BTC to 20,000 USD, and now it was lowered for half a year to 6,000 USD. Based on the experience gained, we can make the assumption that futures on ETH will also work as well as on BTC. First there will be growth, then fall. But in any case it's better than if the coin is in the flat.

This is a blasting news, this can make eth price to grow like the bitcoin price, I will buy more of eth should in case the news turns out to be true so that I will have enough eth.

If this will push through then eth holders will be grateful though iit isn't official like we can just celebrate if CBOE had already confirm this. This is a bad thing for ethereum holders. Remember that futures is not the same as an ETF. The reason bitcoin tanked is because of the futures investors manipulating the prices, whereas an ETF will bring real investors that will pump the prices. Ethereum holders should prepare for a pump and dump nearer the time

There has been an extensive amount of news this week, all of them indicating towards a massive upsurge in the ALTcoins' market very soon. ETH being a leader among the Altcoins in terms of popularity and reliability is being targeted by a lot of new exchanges and investors to help it bounce back again.

I am not sure about success of this project at all, its position is not so strong and there are much more reliable ones on the current market which will be more profitable.

I hope that when CBOE launches future contracts for Ethereum by the end of the year there will be a sudden increase in the number of investors interested in coding, and the most desirable is the price increase series of coins and other tokens.

I hope the scenario not only helps the ETH price to go up but at least make the ALT market stable again. ALTs have been bleeding badly since the start of August and people have been very scared to invest in any of them. Meanwhile, a lot of ALT and ETH holders have shifted to BTC which has made the market imbalanced.

There is no point in focusing on resurrecting ETH if we, the investors don't stop exchanging out ETH for BTC once the market sees slump. Moreover, the ICOs are becoming the biggest holders of ETH in the market which is causing problems for the liquidity of the coins. If these problems are not dealt with at first then getting listed on an exchange won't have much effect.

I think it's very good news and it could start a bull rally on Ethereum. But do not strongly hope for it, as long as the market remains bearish, Ethereum may not go to the moon.

ETh is one of those coins which indeed needs a boost , it as bled enough. The futures will be a boost initally , its hard what will happen after the hype will be gone. Look at btc, we had a hue bull run for BTC befor its future and afterwards hue dump as well.

It is a very promising news.  We all know that bitcoin is now at the top of the stack. It has the most number of transaction it is ofcourse for a reason. Bitcoin has the most number of features. If bitcoin etf will be approved then it's no brainer that Ethereum etf will come soon. It's to early to file etf for Ethereum because bitcoin have been rejected so many times. And maybe if we have another bull run like last year it will surely one of the reason why bitcoin etf will be approved. But for Ethereum it will take time maybe late next year is good.

I'm thinking that the same effect would come just like bitcoin futures.

The hype can also be real with such news but they are two different events. The expected result for the awaited Bitcoin ETF is said to have result at end of this month. And like this launching, I'm not expecting that there will positive effect, just look what happened to bitcoin when they launched bitcoin futures.

Futures markets by design add nothing to a market and just take value away by trading nothing where as without that market the trades have to be in the actual coins. They are a tool for the bankers to skim market cap into their own pockets.

To me, I don't think it will have more influence in taking the present state  of the market up. We will need more positive news in order to achieve that

ETH's futures are not predicted now because ETH is too unstable now that do not allow it to improve in price or to be reliable again. Others programs are not in time now I am sure.
