This is a nice development, and they are also blocking third party cookies, tracking and browser fingerprinting by default. Now obviously you should have configured your Firefox to already do all these things, but its a nice development for your average Joe that doesn't really understand crypto, security or privacy that well. Provided you aren't already using something better like Tor, I would encourage everyone to move away from browsers like Chrome and towards Firefox for your own privacy and security. |
