Title: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: jackg on September 01, 2018, 08:28:30 PM So I've been with bitcoin for a while and I used to like coinflapper (which, for those of you who don't know, was a bitcoin game available from a site of bitplay dot today but the site has a new owner as far as I can tell) you used to be able to enter tournaments and bet 0.001BTC with a top prize of 0.003BTC and a secondary prize of 0.001BTC which was qutie a fun game to play as it was just like flappy bird.
I've swtiched to doing what I was before then and playing a game called alien run from bitcoin aliens but the rewards are tiny and there's no gambling in them so you can't advance the amount you have very quickly... Are there any good apps/sites for this with arcade-style games for example (regular casino games aren't as fun for me as tournament style games)? Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? I think it was just the earlier days because there were no prize pool or competition yet. You just get rewarded depending on how far you got in the game. There was also Oh Crop! by Loud Panda Interactive. This one was a trend in my country before. I see almost players here back then were from the Philippines. To win you need to defeat the evil plants similar to plants vs. zombie. I never won anything in here tho, they just reward the top 15 players. Requires a lot of time to play since there a re a lot of good players. I'm not sure if they are still operating now. It's a good game and highly entertaining. Btw, imo Bitcoin aliens for me is just like a faucet and I never considered it gaming. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? I too would like to play arcade games versus other people for money, but it has to be really small stakes, so it doesn't cost a fortune. I think cheating might become an issue if something gets super popular. Aside counter strike for money, I haven't seen anything arcade like. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? I think that "arcade games" means playing versus the computer only.Playing versus other people means that the game is multiplayer, not arcade. However, such games can be easily exploited,so I don't think that a good arcade game with bets and gambling will be created soon.In such games, players rely on skills, not luck, which is bad for the gambling experience,I guess. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: adaseb on September 02, 2018, 06:12:01 AM The reason why there aren't any arcade style games for Bitcoin is because it would be very easy to program a bot and cheat.
The site would have to be PvP however most likely nobody would want to play because the other player could easily be a bot and not human and hence for BTC they wouldn't want to gamble only for fun. Basically its similiar to those old style "wall hack" cheats that they had for Counterstrike. You could easily modify certain textures locally on your machine and you could see-thru walls and other players wouldn't know you are cheating unless it was very obvious. For reasons such as this is why nobody has arcade style games instead they all rely on provably fair hashes which are near impossible to cheat. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: SyGambler on September 02, 2018, 06:37:07 AM at the moment I know none that have such type of games , but one of the admins I know told me in private that he is planning to start adding some multi player games where skill can give you an edge and I'm hoping this won't take long
The reason why there aren't any arcade style games for Bitcoin is because it would be very easy to program a bot and cheat. well yeah this is true but personally I would love to try such games anyways even there is a good chance that I'm playing against a bot the idea of doing something fun while gambling is still way better for me than just clicking the dice buttons it's a challenge for developers but hoping they can figure this out Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: kryptqnick on September 02, 2018, 11:57:50 AM I tried to explore the topic a bit and I found some potentially interesting options. There used to be an arcade game faucet website back in 2017 called gamefaucet.com, but unfortunately it's is not operating anymore. If you live in England, a rather weird option might also be available to you. LibertyGames has acrade machines that accept bitcoin. So, you have to come and use the usual real-life machine, but pay with btc for doing so: https://www.libertygames.co.uk/blog/bitcoin-arcade-machine/. I also found this (http://www.bitbet.com/best-bitcoin-casino/) website, where one can play some games they say are the arcade-type ones. But their reputation seems controversial to me, so I wouldn't risk playing there.

If they give you tickets or something and a chance to win bitcoin related merchandise from it then that would definitely be worth the visit. Bitcoin aliens definitel is a faucet yes. I only use them because they're still game-like... Maybe I should see if there are any informal things available. I've noticed there's a site called tetrisfriends or something like that where you can pick who you compete against. I also have a copy of the original London monopoly so maybe a game of that would be interesting if you get three or four players (plus an extra person to bank and control the board). If I were to do the monopoly thing, as the bank I'd need a bankroll of about 0.05BTC with each of the four users staking their 0.015BTC or something. Four users is about optimum as the suggested max of 10 means that the bank ends up with a very large amount of money and two users suck too much out of it and make it unprofitable - it's quite a hard game to cheat with a bot too as everyone has an individual strategy. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: Taki on September 02, 2018, 09:33:47 PM Oh I also would love to play arcade styled games per bitcoin. Like Super Mario where you take Satoshi's instead of just coins. I think such games would be really popular, but why there are not any like this?!
Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: slaman29 on September 03, 2018, 05:16:12 AM Used to be a site called playforcrypto. I spent like, a lot of time there playing stupid games like snake until I could get enough coins to withdraw (if I'm not mistaken they used to allow you to convert to Bitcoin).
I should have seen it coming when they started to change things, change coins, remove coins and all that. About a month ago they just went offline suddenly. Lost all the coins I never withdrew, and it tells me you can't really run a site like that and be profitable. As pointed out, too easy to cheat with bots. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: panjul07 on September 03, 2018, 07:48:04 PM Oh I also would love to play arcade styled games per bitcoin. Like Super Mario where you take Satoshi's instead of just coins. I think such games would be really popular, but why there are not any like this?! As mentioned by someone previously that arcade style game where you are against the computer like when you play Super Mario, it is very risky for the owner of the game as people may create a bot/cheat to win the game easily. It wont be profitable for the owner IMO, this is why there are not any games like this in this industry. It is also hard to make this kind of game with provably fair system which is the most important part of this industry especially if we are risking money to play the game. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: stomachgrowls on September 03, 2018, 08:27:30 PM Im not get used to play these arcade games but someone do try out to make some games more interesting basing on CS. Heres the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4979529.0
Killing enemies would give you out some coins.Basic stuff but worth to be tried on. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: Bitcotalk on September 05, 2018, 12:48:11 PM I think if you play slots that looks like a bit of like arcade games, there are so many slots that in the end when you are gambling there slots have like weird options and you have games in the games and need to follow that rabbit hole and all that.
However if you mean more like pc arcade games you can check the mine sweeper games, there are a lot of them and they do look like arcade games as well and they can be really fun if you play it with some "system" and realize that no system you can think can be helpful to you :D In the end there is no "games" that you can make any decent money or have fun, at least not gambling wise on arcade level. Are you talking about the themed slot games towards actual games like Sonic or Mario Brothers? Yes we have all seen this in phyiscal casinos and online casinos however its still regular slots. They just usually have some intro, some sounds, some music and all the wheel combinations are usually characters from the game like Mario, Luigi, Mushroom, etc. However its still regular slots. He is referring to an actual game for example Mortal Kombat but to play it for money instead of points. However I don't see this ever happening as it would be very easy to program a bot which would fight for you and know all the correct moves and win. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: SimplyRouge2 on September 06, 2018, 06:56:48 AM Hi there!
Win a day offers a tournament for slot games on a regular basis. Both Slotland and Winaday also have some old style arcade games which you will not find anywhere else online. Their games are completely unique and can not be found on any other websites. There is a $36 (~5mbtc) free chip bonus code in the signature of this message to try them out if you would like. There are also generous welcome first deposit bonuses with only 10x/12x rollovers! Feel free to PM me if you would like additional offers or are a high roller. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: STT on September 06, 2018, 02:00:53 PM There was a thread recently where you can play counter strike the FPS 3D game for bitcoin and receive payment for every kill in the game.
I was trying to understand the rules but I believe you must first pay entry then you get the payment per kill on the server. So you are gambling your skill vs others. I suggested to the server owner that he allow free entry to begin based on advertising revenue because obviously an online game for multiplayer does first require the players to populate the server. So he was stuck in a catch 22 situation there. As far games on the actual blockchain there is a few for alt coins but bitcoin Im not sure of any exactly. There used to be a coin called motacoin or something and you mined the coin by controlling a motocross motorbike, sounds extreme dont it :D proof by play Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? I do not think that it has any correspond to what OP asked, he just trying to promote the site so may be others can check on their site and burn some cash there. He does not really supporting about the arcade game as well, because not much that provide this arcade game for betting, so he intend to offer his slots game Anyway, i found out about pool game which is betting using bitcoin and some chess game, but yet after period of time, those thread is burief away, and no one really want to gamble there for long time Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games? Post by: slaman29 on September 09, 2018, 08:17:42 AM Yeah sorry guys, slot games are so NOT arcade games. You can put mario, pacman, sonic the hedgehog and whatever arcade character onto a slot but it doesn't make it an arcade game.
I don't like slots in the first place because most of them are hard to be provably fair. And when you read most of the scam accusations with jackpots, it always has to do with slot games. AND those new casinos that come out with 200 slots games are usually the ones with problems. No offense. So we're back and realise there are just no good arcade games that reward crypto out there. We should think of creating something, that rewards pvp and is bot resistant. Title: Re: Are there any good arcade style games?
