My personal opinion is that no!I think that we will see this amount in 2020 . 2018 will please us with 25-35 thousand dollars . It's just the whales won't let us get that kind of money,we'll have to shave it a bunch of times ...

Your post title look like a joke of 2018. However , no one can predict exactly about crypto currency. Also no one know when it will run it. But much expectation isn't better practice. Recently huge amount enter on crypto market that's why bitcoin is up trend for short term even most of ETF are rejected. Also some time release fake news for pump btc price , so that people will encourage to buy. You can say it's manual pump by whale.

Btw , my personal expectation is $10k + end of this year. I can't expect or predict more than $15K for 2018. Let's wait for bull run.

Those "positive voices" are just propaganda that is used to build more hype and force more newbies to buy crypto.By the way,your post is kinda confusing.The fact that the bitcoin price is up by 2,26% doesn't mean that bitcoin price will go above 100K in the next 3 months.A 2,26% growth is nothing.It's not even a stable price increase.It's just price volatility.

Well for me, just based on my own opinion, this prediction that the price of Bitcoin will worth more than $100k in 2018 is not gonna happen. Especially now that the Bitcoin price in the crypto market is still on its downfall. But it is not yet sure because we all know that the life here in the crypto world is full of changes and different challenges. But if this will happen I will gladly accept that pleasurably.

This is not possible. Maybe in five years time bitcoin can reach that your suggested amount. Even for bitcoin to reach that 2017 price stage, it will not be that easy. The least I can think of this year is just $10k

It's too high and impossible right now because there are so many manipulations happens in the crypto market everyday. FUD and FOMO always come randomly. I think $10k is still possible at the end of 2018...

This is unlikely. only 3 months to end in 2018. The time is too short for bitcoin to grow up to $ 100. Today the market is showing signs of recovery. But we do not know exactly whether this is a long term bull or a short term bull run. By the end of 2018 bitcoin could reach $ 15k.

No bitcoin cannot touch this price now but maybe we will see it in near future because of bitcoin superiority on other coin people are attracted to it but if we say that the price will go that much its totally wrong bitcoin need much more time to touch this price and that will be the time that bitcoin will be acceptable all over world and this may be happening in 2025 or maybe later.

No! Bitcoin may rally on a high bullish run but I don't think it will hit $100k that could happen in the next 15 to 20 years. Surely, not in 2018. I foresee a bullish run by December for most cryptocurrencies including bitcoin. And, I also forecast a 10k to 15k bullish price range.

Are you kidding! It seems that you're making a bold prediction about bitcoin. How can bitcoin reach $100k if dropped from $19,000 to $6,000? With this situation, it's almost impossible to say $100k. There should be valid reasons that affects bitcoin price.

Yeah, We don't know is that will rise up or going down. But if altcoin rise up maybe it will help bitcoin price rise up too. I hope bitcoin can get out from this problem.

I honestly believe it will go that level but not this year, there's so many bad news hitting Bitcoin this year, but the good news will start once Sec approve Bitcoin, from then we can have a run of good news and if the good news continuous for several months Bitcoin will definitely hit to that level.

That is a reasonable question, because the price of Bitcoin can soar up or down drastically, even a lot of false observer predictions, in my opinion this is the hope of investors in the future that the price of Bitcoin will rise and stabilize, but investors who leave Bitcoin will not happen , they still have hope for Bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is currently on a slow price rise with a consistent speed since the downtrend has been over for a long time now and also because the market has been waiting for a rise with majority of the investors out of the market and waiting for the positive signals to come before they come back. they are get ting impatient.
at the same time we still have that uncertainty because of ETF that will be determined this month so there may not be a major rise and all we may see is this slow rise so I wouldn't expect a big breakout anytime soon, at least not until ETF is rejected for good.

Haha, almost every sane person would be happy to see bitcoin at $10k by the end of 2018. $100k is not going to happen. Generally in such volatile markets where near anything is possible it's advisable not to rule anything out but this will not happen. The market is far too stagnant and stale right now for any large growth.

It is impossible in 2018. but it is not impossible some years down the road. Like five to ten years time frame. I dont see us even getting out of the pattern we have now until the end of the year. Best case we go sideways

No one ever can 100% claim that price of bitcoin in year X will be Y

I made no predictions about the price of bitcoin, and there was no sentence I wrote predicting the price of bitcoin. But I just ask all of you 'can bitcoin achieve this year'.

There is nothing really you can predict right now, what i think is that the price will hit our last goal at dec/jan last/this year.

In my opinion this will be hard to reach $100k at this year
1. Still many people don't know or not interest again with bitcoin this can we search at google trends with still not growing like when bitcoin price reach ATH
2. Maybe investor still kept their money not to buy bitcoin since the price bitcoin still can be manipulated or because many project crypto scam.

So maybe we just wait and see when SEC review again ETF bitcoin again and hope many good news about bitcoin so we can see the price will bullrun again

$100,000 is a possibility, but chances are very small. There must be basis for you to predict such price. Yes, bitcoin's price is rising slowly. It may hardly reach to $10,000 based on the trends. Many experts are showing their predictions, but some of them are just speculations.

Don’t set too much expectation with bitcoin, $100k will not happen this year because of many reason. We need more time for this and bitcoin needs to improve more for this kind of price. $10k is more possible at the end of 2018 and its a good beginning for us to welcome new year.

This kind of article seem to me like just magical because without magic this kind of thing can not possible and what kind of knowledge this kind of people have about bitcoin I really want to know.

I cannot see any reason why btc would go that high ($100K) in the end of 2018 and I would say it's to hyped when people make an assumption that much. Though we are now seeing a slight rise in market value of btc but it is too high for such assumption and I believe that it may come to that level but it will take time to achieve that high probably 5 years from now.

I don't think it is going to be possible. With the price currently at $7,239.99 I can confidently say that the highest it could go in 2018 would be $10,000. I don't see it going beyond that because the market reaction is not giving such signal. It is true that the market could be unpredictable, but I feel $100K is very impossible in 2018 and even in 2019. Time will tell, anyway.

It doesn't matter how much bitcoin price is. You should know that this is a speculative assets and as such there's no way that we can predict where the price could be. Those people mentioned in the articles has no crystal balls, it can be a hit or miss for all we know. We can barely touch the 5 digits mark this year, so much as to $100000 predictions. And with investors getting smarter and matured, I doubt that we can get so much money to be invested today just to reach all-time-highs at the end of the year. Again, I'm fairly modest about my predictions around $10000, so that I won't be disappointed later.

You had a remarkable though on your analysis but I agree with you, I really think many of us here are already done their research if it is not a bull run then the value would surely not reach the $100k mark, And because the price is just a slight movement at a slow pace even I really think it can only get us into a $9000 USD for sure or it can still even end up down considering that a fluctuation going down occur, A possibility of that thing may happen or a sudden tripped for the price of bitcoin, In my opinion, it will surely have a hard time crossing the $9000 mark even going beyond the $100k mark is only a wishful thinking this year.

Maybe it's just a dream to be able to reach $ 100k in 2018, there are indeed a lot of positive news now but that doesn't change the price to achieve what you say, because with the market's drastic decline like this it will be difficult to achieve it as short as that.

Even if the market reaction were impressively positive Bitcoin couldn't reach $100.000 so fast. That kind of event only happens in our dreams... But if it can really hit $10.000 as you say it's already an acceptable mark, better than nothing. However if Bitcoin can reach a little further like it usually reaches at the end of the years it will help the currency to start the new year stronger, recharging the market's confidence and morale.

That's been to high for sure and it will not going to happen. Though it's possible that bitcoin can reach that price, but it will take years before it will happen. I think bitcoin will only reach 10,000$ this year and it's alright for me since it is already a good sign that bitcoin will have a better year next year.

Everything is possible with bitcoin, but yeah its too good to be true so better to make a lower expectation with bitcoin this year. We suffer much from this market but I think its not the right time for bitcoin to hit that price. That is just pure speculation, but i doubt it will reach that high given the current scenario now

I have always defended the fact that we can not know what bitcoin can do and we can't predict what the bitcoin price would be in an hour let alone what it will be in the next 4 months but truth be told I think $100k is an insanely high amount to achieve.

I mean $100k would make the bitcoin about 2 trillion dollars and the whole market is not 2 trillion right now and the volume is just 12 billions, for that to happen there needs to be 100+ billion invested in crypto all of a sudden and that is more money than most countries gdp so I doubt there will be investments at that size even with couple of whales getting into it, maybe not even if ETF started working.

The point we should consider now is, what is the current price of bitcoin, and are there favorable conditions that can make it feasible for bitcoin to reach that amount?, For me, i don't think it is achievable, may be in subsequent years it can get to that amount. :D

Just three months more for the year completion and there is not any strong factor for such a price rise.For example even if bitcoin ETF gets approved,still such a price is not possible.I would say that the present price range of 6,000to 7,000 dollars is still better than higher fluctuations.With fluctuations getting reduced,there are more chances for bitcoin to get accepted as a payment option.

I think it's nearly impossible for bitcoin to reach that amount with in this year, specially now that it has a very stable price which only around of $6,000 to $7,000 in the past few months until now. But despite of this, i still believe on bitcoins potential to reach that high, but not this year, but perhaps in the next few more years. No one can be sure of it if when it will happen, but i'm sure it will happen in the future.
