I asked Ben about these cases, and in this case - you would get the remaining 2 at your price (assuming no further bids). There's some other pitfalls, but Ben will deal with them in the rare case they should occur :) Title: Re: OneStringMiner DIY2 auction - 60 GH/s, Bitfury based Post by: BenTuras on March 05, 2014, 02:27:00 PM This is my first forum auction I've participated in and I guess I should have asked up front, but if I've bid on 5 of the miners at a certain price but someone outbids me for 3 of them do I get the remaining 2 at my price or is my bid for 5 or nothing? 1@0.28 (that leaves 3@0.29 or higher) Hope this auction can end sooner than friday night - the pricing is already at a very fair value IMO Title: Re: OneStringMiner DIY2 auction - 60 GH/s, Bitfury based Post by: TheRealSteve on March 05, 2014, 08:41:06 PM 2@0.29 1@0.28 (that leaves 3@0.29 or higher) Are you sure about that? While it does leave 3 @ 0.29 or higher after your 2 @ 0.29, I'm not sure where your 1 @ 0.28 goes. Triple-checked, I might be wrong though (messy - and Ben did say he's got more than 5 anyway):

The normal price for a single DIY2 is us$731. So to say that it is at a fair price is a bit odd. I started this auction to get publicity, a loss is calculated in, but for this auction only. The auction is set to end at Friday noon CET, not midnight. Title: Re: OneStringMiner DIY2 auction - 60 GH/s, Bitfury based Post by: klondike_bar on March 05, 2014, 09:12:10 PM ^my understanding was that below my bid there were 4 bids at 0.28.
I made it simple and put one bid at 0.28 (makes maximum 5 at that price) then bid 2@0.29. This means 3 more can be bid on at 0.29, and then bids must go higher. (if im not mistaken) Im willing to bid these towards the going rate of an antminer, basically balancing the benefit of power consumption against the drawback of running a USB host and having to run everything via a c/bfgminer instance. I just feel like the bidding will stagnate out well before friday night at the current speed Title: Re: OneStringMiner DIY2 auction - 60 GH/s, Bitfury based Post by: BenTuras on March 05, 2014, 10:20:13 PM ^my understanding was that below my bid there were 4 bids at 0.28.
