However, his level of incompetence is criminal. How someone could be controlling that amount of money and not have adequate safeguards defies belief. I think of the many trusting individuals who lost fortunes, and it really saddens me. The fundamental problem with Mt. gox was, IMO, that they didn't deserve to be the exchange that they were. Bitcoin fell in their lap, and they rested on their laurels while they made millions of dollars.

He was incompetent and that was their main problem!
