Title: Sites to support.
Post by: MaxSan on October 27, 2011, 08:58:52 AM
After looking through a .NET magazine I saw an article which referenced http://conferencesburnedbypaypal.tumblr.com

I figure be a nice idea if we had a standard letter and some sort of "gameplan" that uses bitcoins. Im sure most of them would seize the oppertunity (esp with bit-pay services and things making life oh so easy :))

Any thoughts?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46646.msg565883#msg565883 seems to be making an interesting letter to send. I think it could use some work, but it doesn't suck.   I think Bit Pay needs to be backed more.  They don't need people writing emails for them, just people to actually use their Bitcoin to buy things or start using Bitcoin to make purchases for things they use cash or other forms of currency on.

Once the March convention is underway, I'll be happy to tell my experiences of accepting sponsor and exhibitor payments and donations from around the world easily and within minutes. My only game plan regarding payments was installing the BTCinch Opencart plugin.  ;)
