Title: Avoid Leancy - Deposits could be compromised
Post by: btcmania on March 04, 2014, 10:14:48 PM

We was scammed by the hosting provider KODDOS (http://www.koddos.com/)
As most of you knows we have some technical issues earlier today. In order to solve them we have provided the server's access credentials (root password) to the KODDOS support. Right after that our IDS (Intrusion Detection System) has detected the changes in the database. The payment systems accounts has been changed and we still have no access to the server, the KODDOS support is keeping silence.

We have backups and all invested funds are secured and safe. We need to change the server, it will take 2-3 business days. We will stop the accruals during these days, so when we will back online you will see the same available to withdraw amount you have right now.

We will post the same message on the LEANCY's website soon. Since we have no access to the server right now we need to change the leancy.com name servers first, it will take about 24 hours.

This site always seemed sketchy to me. I mean I'd they give you a positive return on investment there has to be some how they make money. So is guess it's a ponzi or a risky investment of some kind they're making right?

There is no doubt that this was always a ponzi that simply masqueraded as a HYIP. It is in general what all HYIPs are despite what they claim. There is no way they can make 1700% simple interest per year, if anyone could do that consistently they would quickly become the richest person in the world.

It's a ponzi, at some point the owner pulls the rug out from under everyone.

It's not IF, it's WHEN.

Maybe in this case someone else got hold of the rug?

Even if it comes back, it's a matter of when the owner pulls it

Server migration takes 24hr maximum. Why would it take up to 3 days in their case? Something stinks here.

Most of the investors who invests in HYIPs understands the risk involved and understands that its a ponzi and someone will get ripped off in the end , leancy had a decent run of around 3months  , and I have seen few others in past staying in biz for almost a few years..! but then thing is they will eventually becomes scam, so getting in early is the only way you will get a good taste , but that too not possible these days because you'll see HYIPs come and go on the same day, just a quick rip off..!
